Pls gurus & xpert in d house, which is d best among d strong series i mean srt 49xx, 46xx, mine is SRT 4950

Pleasr house, I tried upgrading my 4669x decoder using this file "SRT4669X_7111_Intg_STR_317p_20140619.zip
Dated:19 JUNE 2014". but it says "invalid stb file"...please what shud I do ?

FIND another 4950h and do box to box film ware upgrade

I tried the box-to-box upgrade but unlike 4669x, the 4950H has no tranfer option.

Another problem I encountered with the 4950H though I'm using sw 2.55p version in fear nt 2 loose az... working in it, is tv3 biss key, though I'm able to add biss key line n renaming the provider but when I tried editing the freq, sr and sid after pressing f1 and ok it, it won't make any effect.
I pray somebody will come up with the solution.

Any time you upgrade and get this failed file.it simple mean software does not download properly.when downloading software for decoder please try and watch the percentage well until is fully 100% before loading it to your decoder.

get a new flash load only the 4950h software bin rom plug the box off it from back put the flash then on the box it will load by itself

Please, afta upgrading my 4669X decoder, d decoder rebooted but there happen to b no changes. The software version still reads 3.02 nd on pressing 6969, nothing pops out.....please help.tnx

Those channels have always been there. They ar on C-band.

@ODILIBE,GEORGE D BLEXONMAC i urgently need ur input on this my 4mt dish has no more reflector on face again no single one like this can it bring out signal even eutelsat w4 36 east just to track and align the neck before i refurbish it i don't want to waist my precious time on tracking if it will not bring any signal thanks

If there is no element of metal on the surface of the dish then it won't reflect satellite microwave!
Aluminium satellite dish seems to have more gain than steel/pan etc..since aluminium is a good conductor of electricity and can reflects microwaves than steel etc!a fiber dish wrapped with an Aluminium foil will almost have same effect!
Wrap the 4m dish with Aluminium kitchen foil then repaint the dish!
I hope all will agree with me lol..
