But if reverse is d case and u seriously need to rewrite the exam, i promise u 5k.
U guys should pray fir me too o cos i used registered nipost for all my applications too. Both estonia and finland except for my first transcript to estonia.

You're right about having to send money to Norway but 8m? Lol... that's enough to become a Landlord here, own a car and start a lowkey life here in Naija. It's actually about 2.5 - 3m that's required to be sent to Norway. The Norwegian Master's application period closed on d 1st of December 2014. I have 4 applications but I'm not even looking forward to the results co the 3m is a whole lot of money.

If u r an engineer, you could struggle to get the 3m. It will pay you in the long run. Most Nigerian engineering graduates get jobs more easily there than Finland. Their oil sector is very huge. So discrimination is minimal and languare requirements are not too tough. Since most of those companies are multinationals. The money also discouraged me. Would have opted for Stavanger or NTNU. All the best sir.

Cheers!!

I sent my applications on d 4th of December, delivered on the 8th. Unilag sent my transcript on the 31st of December. Delivered on the 5th of January this year. DHL for both. Cost a fortune surely, but at least I get peace of mind say the stuff deliver on time. I still dey try recover the money tho. Shipping 20k, transcript 2,500. Total 22,500. sad sad sad

Struggle to get 3m. Really? Do u know what it takes to make 500k in this country not to talk of 3m? Lol... u should suggest how to "struggle" to get 3m naira in 5 months. Like say na so naija make sense. Nah, I'm not an engineer, got a humanities degree. But seriously, that STRUGGLE TO MAKE THE 3M part fear me. Make we relate as to how to make such sir, I'll be grateful to u cheesy

I'll say what I think I know (which could be wrong): if ur transcript doesn't get there before the deadline, UAF will consider ur application as "incomplete". It doesn't mean much as they're still going to forward the application to the university. The university will review it like that and decide whether to offer you an admission. The probability of this happening (being offered an admission without the transcript) is kinda low. Cos it's the major yardstick for them to judge ur eligibility as a candidate (I don dey speak too much grammar sef lol). With this being said you could stand a chance if ur letter of motivation was really motivating. If u wrote like those oversabi people wey u remember when u dey for uni wey dey collect extra sheet to impress lecturers and u convince the admin officer of the uni, cool. But if u write am like Papa ifeanyi wey dey sell newspaper for ojodu berger, bros... u don Bleep up be that. my suggestion: start contacting the department of the uni u chose and try to famz dem. Talk about how u like the course, school, and how u're looking forward to studying there. Famz the person well make him know u wella. When ur application don reach hin side, u fit just explain to am wetin happen. it COULD work. All na risk.
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 9:55am On Jan 13, 2015
IMPORTANT: if by Friday, your applications haven't been delivered. Try to get money and resend using dhl. Soon the whole of naija go shutdown and face nothing but the stupid elections. NIPOST no go get time again as the delivery man wey don dey finland already to deliver ur package go remember say politicians dey bribe people for naija. Instead make hin deliver una envelopes, him go trowey dem and rush to naija for hin share (just kidding o). But seriously, consider dhl if things remain slow. The next application is a loooong time, Finland fit change am for us by den sef make dem start to charge school fees.

You're welcome wink

I don't think it's a Nipost delay, I think it is UAF slow response now because we are now at peak of application season, I used DHL for my transcripts going to three weeks now still no confirmation from UAF, I have even mailed them but no reply yet from them, I sent a registered mail to US on 20th Dec. It got there on 2nd January, exactly 14 days later.

3 weeks ago? No response? Something is not right. Maybe they didn't get it. U need to call/mail them ASAP and keep disturbing them. They reply mails quickly and inform u of what is delivered to dem quickly. 3 weeks is a whole lot of time o. I don't think it's normal. Send dem a mail and quote ur application "numbers". Do something, anything

But my main application form hasn't gotten their yet, I sent it in on Monday last week using Nipost EMS, it will take five to seven working days.

I was only able to track my transcript sent with DHL, It had since been delivered 3 days later by DHL's own record but I didn't receive any confirmation from AUF.

One can track EMS express too but dhl tracking is more detail. Its just a matter of time because some people in Finland testified that they used normal nipost nd it got there.

For you to be this pessimistic, u must have answered only 3 questions out of all the questions. Relax. The result can't be too bad. As a first degree holder, with ur university education in the English Language your confidence is somehow. We've all tried to encourage you. Someone even promised 5k, u still feel this way. You're incorrigible (lol, I don dey speak grammar again). You need to relax my dear.
