Next month is Febuhari Section 318 of the constitution is very clear "School Certificate or its equivalent" means (a) a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, or Grade II Teacher’s Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate; or (b) education up to Secondary School Certificate level; or (c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent and - (i) service in the public or private sector in the Federation in any capacity acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for a minimum of ten years, and (ii) attendance at courses and training in such institutions as may be acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for periods totalling up to a minimum of one year, and (iii) the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language to the satisfaction of the Independent National Electoral Commission, and (d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission; Also section 31 of the Electoral act is clear: 31. -(1) Every political party shall not later than 60 days before the date appointed for a general election under the provisions of this Act, submit to the Commission in the prescribed forms the list of the candidates the Party proposes to sponsor at the elections. (2) The list or information submitted by each candidate shall be accompanied by an Affidavit sworn to by the candidate at the High Court of a State, indicating that he has fulfilled all the constitutional requirements for election into that office. chukwudi44:Stop being stupid.Do you know the entry qualification into the army then?Up till this moment, entry into the Armed Forces in Nigeria is still based on Quota System/Federal Character. As at 1962 when Muhamadu Buhari enlisted in the Nigerian Military Training College, Kaduna, the pre-requisite qualification was attendance and passing out from a Secondary School. All what were required then were a Testimonial and Recommendation from the School. Buhari attended the Nigerian Military Training College, Kaduna, now renamed Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), now equivalent of a University in Nigeria. From 1962 to 1963, he underwent Officer Cadets training at Mons Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England. From Nov. 1963 to Jan.1964, Muhamadu Buhari attended the Platoon Commanders' Course at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna. Also in 1964, Buhari attended the Mechanical Transport Officers' Course at the Army Mechanical Transport School in Bordon, United Kingdom. Muhamadu Buhari attended the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, India in 1973. From 1979 to 1980, Colonel Muhamadu Buhari attended the Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, U.S.A and graduated with a Master's Degree in Srategic Studies. With all these academic qualifications obtained by General Muhamadu Buhari, Buhari is not an illiterate. He is highly educated. -(1) Every political party shall not later than 60 days before the date appointed for a general election under the provisions of this Act, submit to the Commission in the prescribed forms the list of the candidates the Party proposes to sponsor at the elections. lookmangiw:This is why Nigeria is where it is today. incompetent people are pushd to impossible responsibilities at the expense of merit and positive development failure is inevitable. GEJ has a great task ahead of him till 2019 Quota system has destroyed Nigeria buhari should not be even a head master in a primary school that knows its onions. that is why his ambition to aspire for aso rock will always fail. infact buhari replaces the word "failure" Buhari is the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success.[1] Product failure ranges from failure to sell the product to fracture of the product, in the worst cases leading to personal injury, the province of forensic engineering. |

barcanista:Barcanista, d moment of truth has arrived. I just read a Channels TV article where the content of this letter of recommendation was shown to the press. Two things were made clear therein: 1. Buhari NEVER passed SSCE at any thing as he claimed to have only had 4 credits and a Pass in his Schedule Cert (less than the 5 required credits)_ and we suspect all the others were Fs with no single A. 2. At the time of writing this letter of recommendation, the principal clearly stated that Buhari HAD NOT FINISHED SECONDARY SCHOOL cos he said he believed he would pass. Buhari was NEVER qualify to enter the military nor is he qualifued to run for President. He COULDN'T even pass common School Cert. Quota system, nepotism, favoritism made him who is he today. That's what's up for now.... Maybe more coming sef |

PointB:This is how they've cheated Nigerians for so long with their born-to-rule mentality. It is easier for an illiterate Hausa/Fulani boy to walk into the NDA and become your boss as far as you're not from the North. This is the quota system that has handed all govt agencies and parastatals into their hands making them to feel that they own the country. Buhari ,a product of quota system is as corrupt as the highest Nigerian thief that has been arraigned before any court of law and neither are we willing to bend the constitution because of one man's ambition and his bunch of charlatans. Buhari should bring forth his certificate or step aside and a criminal investigation should be opened on how a coup plotter and a kidnapper has been fooling the Nigerian authorities for so long. |

chukwudi44:Thats another case PDP can take up. Clearly the constitution is very clear on this requirement. Perjury will only be sensible if there is a proof against the claim. I wish PDP goodlack in winning any case against Buhari. |

Kx:Waec or it's equivalent bah so u not even ashame that a whole presidential candidate doesn't have Advanced cert The criteria for selection in every job is always those with higher cert to get the job first. my question; Suppose u attend an interview with MSC and someone with WAEC attends same interview with u, how will u feel Tell your self the truth and ask your oga to showushiscertificate. Why are WAEC holders not Vice chancellors in our higher schools? So u want this great nation With several institutions and challenges to be govern by an ordinary WAEC holder right? we are too old to be backwards ![]() |

He lied under the OATH. He sworn to affidavit that his certificates are with Army, now Army has come out to tell the world that they dont have his certificates. It means he lied under the oath. Which is a serious offence. That is the issue now. Whether he can produce the certificates is an another issue entirely.. |

Teacher: When crude oil was N119 per barrel, we buy petrol for N97 per litre Now that crude oil is N49 per barrel with all other things being equal, what is the expected price of petrol per litre? Jonathan: N87. Teacher: Pls who award PhD to this man who doesn't know simple arithmetic? Teacher: buhari what is d answer? Buhari: sir, the only items that change is price, so our change formular is; If N119 changed to N49 Then N97 will CHANGE to N27 Teacher: But they said u don't have certificate? Buhari: it's a simple arithmetic, even market woman can solve it. Teacher: Chai chai..... we need CHANGE |

| Re: We Don’t Have Buhari’s Credentials - Army by FrankC3: 5:40pm On Jan 20, 2015 |
It seems that the least Mr Buhari is guilty of right now is perjury, which is lying under oath. He filled out a form with INEC and put his qualification as WAEC but it seems that with the below, he does not have WAEC qualification. This is no more about whether he has equivalent qualification or not because he swore to an affidavit with a court that ALL the information contained in the form he filled in the INEC are true. If there was nothing holding him down before, that affidavit finished him off. Of course, Buhari's supporters will disagree. Records available indicate that Major General M Buhari applied to join the military as a Form Six student of the Provincial Secondary School, Katsina on 18 Oct 61. His application was duly endorsed by the Principal of the school, who also wrote a report on him and recommended him to be suitable for military commission. It is a practice in the NA that before candidates are shortlisted for commissioning into the officers’ cadre of the Service, the Selection Board verifies the original copies of credentials that are presented. However, there is no available record to show that this process was followed in the 1960s. Nevertheless, the entry made on the NA Form 199A at the point of documentation after commission as an officer indicated that the former Head of State obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC) in 1961 with credits in relevant subjects: English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, Hausa and a pass in English Literature. Neither the original copy, Certified True Copy (CTC) nor statement of result of Major General M Buhari’s WASC result is in his personal file. |
