Hmm shawbabe you did not say it was overated until you landed US safely ooo grin

I get where you are coning from, but like kykes and virtuousdiva have said, t builds burden of proof.

You said you have traveled to the US up to 12 times (ajala things) , ur own confidence is different from everyone.

All cases are different. Me for example, when I applied I was specifically asked if I would use it for medical purposes, I sad no, as I was not pregnant at the time. I then used the visa in 2013, regular holiday.

Will you say that I should not have written to them? All cases are different biko...

As someone had noted (cant remember who) this letter of intent may be abused at the rate we are going, but still, it may be a factor at POE.

At POE, I met a harsh woman that asked me how I knew that it was ok to come and deliver in the US, I no even talk too much story, I just showed her the letter.

My 2 cents...

Shawbabe:

that letter of intent thing is over-rated. As long as she has traveled before on the visa, shoe doesn't need to send anything. I didn't send any letter becoz I already had speech and answer planned to give them if they give me wahala lol. But God was in control all through.

@ kairi and lalavita, thanks!

No its not overrated but it doesn't apply in all cases.

Pls I agree with u, over rated or not, there is no harm in trying, it does not take more than 2minutes to type and send a letter. Just to be on the safe side. Some officers wont ask for any document and some will ask for a head. It does not cost much to have all even those that u feel are not necessary but it cost a lot not to have a single document that is requested. it may cost u a return ticket, ur time (put into research and preparation) etc. My opinion pls.

Just send a mail to doctores para ti and tell em you want a personalized letter from the doctor that will handle your delivery in Del sol med center. They will respond and tell you about the $100 fee.

@newmum0615 I had to request something similar from them, when the embassy said I should get a personalized letter from doctoresparati, after a got the letter of responsibility, that they send the form of the exact hospital and doctor they would be using before my visa was granted. They sent the letter but it was not signed, saying they can only sign when they see me in person. The embassy was ok with that.

Hello house, please for those that ever had their doctor's letters checked at POE. How much correspondence are you expected to have with your doctor. I've made an enquiry, got a response with the cost attachment. No dates or commitment. Just wondering if this would do or we need to do more. Thanks

I have same issue too. Called doctor's office and they faxed the cost package to me. They claim not to be allowed to send
mails until they see me in person for appointment . I have been wondering if this is okay to present at POE. The hospital too is same story only that I have someone I mail directly and she stated in the mail that every arrangement will start when I come.

I hope this will suffice for POE. Someone should help us out please.

Delta is partners with KLM and Airfrance, so sometimes Delta flights are routed through Amsterdam or Paris. You shouldn't have any issues, but you can call Delta directly if you'd rather go to Atlanta and not stop over in Europe.

While you wait for the drugs, in the meantime, get her some lemon, cut into 2, Squeeze the juice in a tea cup with the body of the lemon. Add hot water and allow to cool for some minutes. Give her to drink morning and night. It normalises blood pressure. But she shouldn't take it if she's suffering from ulcer. Learnt it is not good for ulcer patients.

@FavouredB, which of the doctors are you using in Hackensack plus can i have his email address. Thanks

I am using Doctor Fares Diabakerli. Will send you his number via PM.

I have been getting lots of PMS on total cost for Hackensack and I think I should mention it here again.

Doctor's fee ....1,500 for vaginal delivery and 2000 for CS. Hospital fee...3,800 ( for 2 days normal delivery). So far for all the tests the bill came to about 620 or so but after discount I paid 220. Not sure yet about exact fees for Paed and others.

So I know this is not the tread for it but I need to vent. I totally hate it when people ask me intimate questions about my pregnancy n travel plans like when is my EDD, Sex of my baby in fact yesterday some asked me wen my traveling n I said d month n she asked 4 d date I had to tell her cos it's not in my nature to Lie. (Not that much a saint) I just think it's personal info n people should mind their business. Argggggggg.

I feel you. It's so annoying. Personally I don't like asking such questions but I don't know why people bother to know. I usually don't give a straightforward answer but in my head I will be screaming "why don't you mind your damn business". Here in US too it's the same thing. I wouldn't even bother to reply. I would just smile and give them a cold stare....to mind their business

Please i need info on this, i want a letter too. Thanks

Good day ElPaso NLers,

I just got an email from Doctores Parati that if I need a personalized letter of medical responsibility from a doctor in Del Sol Med Center (as I requested), then I have to pay a $100 non-refundable fee. In light of the recent concerns on Doctores Parati letters at the embassy, I want to ask if anyone has paid for this personalized letter and still experienced issues. Thanks.

@justwise....ejo o. Shey I am not spamming this time. I need info biko.

I asked for the same personalised letter from them. That was after I had paid their $150 to get the initial letter. They promised to send the doctor's personalised letter after a week but never did. Since it wasnt really needed at POE i didnt bother with them again. Good luck
