Forget about that guy. It seems he knows nothing about online transactions. I have had failed transactions on Aliexpress, a Chinese online store. In each of the 3 cases, I did not call or send mail to anyone. Their website reflected the failed orders and the refund processes eventually my money were refunded without stress.

The irony of this Jumia issue is it takes them seconds to deduct money from your bank account, but months to refund you if only you are lucky.

After almost 2mths!Meanwhile I just got a call from your cc agent that am expected to pay an additional N3,417 to collect a replacement for a defective phone, whose fault wasn't mine!!
How do u explain this,Mr jumia cares!!!

Infact, i dont know wat to say about what JUMIA had course me. I oreder for two items on 8th Dec. 2015, it took them allmost 3weeks to deliver one out of them after much calls and mails. The second one entered fail delivery. Since then they have not refund my account, though they claimed they have sent reversal instruction to interswich to refund my account. Up till now i have not receive shin gbain! Please you might think twice befor you shop with these cooporate armed robbers that they call they self JUMIA. #34,225 is not a small money at least to......

Jumia still playing games.Up to this moment,almost a mth after retrieval ,am yet to get a replacement,even after I had been informed that I would have to pay an additional N3,147 to collect it!!

I was equally played a fast one on by this online Thieving giants...You order and they tell you it got cancelled then they give you a voucher...what is the assurance you still need that particular item or perhaps that the same thing wont happen again?? So you ask for refund and you will get told kindly revert with order number.... bla bla bla...Guess what?? That is the last email you will get from them! No refund is coming!
MY ADVICE SHOW THEM WHAT IT MEANS TO MESS WITH A NAIRALANDER GATHER TRAFFIC ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND ENOUGH PPL WITH THE SAME STORY TO JOIN YOU....CREATE AN ANTI-JUMIA FACEBOOK AD IF NEED BE...OR AT LEAST A BLOG...I WILL DRIVE UNLIMITED TRAFFIC TO THE BLOG IF NEED BE...I DIDNT CRY OUT COS MY AMOUNT WAS NEGLIGIBLE YOURS ISNT DONT SUFFER IN SILENCE... angry

I placed an order with jumia last month for a sony bravia 42KDL W800A Internet Tv valued @ N161,000. Instead of jumia to tell me that the TV is not available, they sent a Sony bra via 42KDL W800B Internet TV which is valued @ N146,000. And packaged a way bill of thesame TV @ N161,000, instead of N146,000. I inspected the model numbers on the TV and waybill which didn't coincide with what I actually wanted in terms of my choice and cash I wanted to pay. I told the dispatcher that wasnt what I wanted, as I had earlier sensed foul play in my telephone conversation with the jumia customer rep and the dispatcher. I later bought the TV @ park n shop in garrison PH for N140,000. I m currently rocking it. Jumia now stinks with corruption. My peeps plz be wise o.

which mix up?? that company is just horrible plain and simple. In e-commerce consumer satisfaction through stellar reputation is the main goal...fail at that and it is only a matter of time. Right now Jumia thinks they can survive all these little issues, well not for long..not for long i tell ya! As for the money i lost to them i don't even want it back but i will tell it to anybody who cares to listen, I WON'T PISS ON JUMIA IF IT WAS ON FIRE!!

Sorry folks.Haven't b that regular on nland,particularly this section recently due to what I perceive is the unfair manner some threads are treated.This thread was supposed to be on FP,yet despite pleas from other posters the mods didn't deem it worthwhile.

The update:after having given them enough heat via emails,on phone and online and copying the consumer protection council(though I didn't get any reply from them) and further vowing to write about my ordeal to newspaper houses;jumia did eventually contact me for a replacement. But here's where this people don't seem to want to change their bad ways:I had to part with an extra N3,599 before collecting the replaced fone!!Till today,I neither understand or have I been given any reason for having yo pay that extra cost.
Its as if am being charged for Jumia's fault!!This can only happen in the jungle that is Nigeria.[
