as much as I want to believe that u have a point, I still think u don't understand the basis of this certificate saga. His (sai Buhari's) going to US war college and obtaining a diploma all hinged directly on the authenticity of his WASC. if his WASC is flawed, then everything that followed thereof is null amd void.
That's why I support he clears the air about this certificate issue. because if his WASC is forged, then his being in the army is automatically rendered invalid and even this US war college diploma you are talking about will be null. so please don't look down on this saga cause it's really a pressing issue.

You talked about having a diploma...this is flawed.
If the minimum requirement to enter Chevron is a graduate trainee is a second class upper in engineering or sciences and you come with a 2'2 + MSc and PhD, you will not be employed because you simply do not have a 2'1 at BSc level.

Additionally, you can only be offered the chance to get a diploma if you have your o'level. Its this O'level that people are requesting, GMB should do the needful and request for copies of his O'level from WAEC and/or Cambridge and shut critics up.

As for me I am not in any camp, but as a son of a millitary officer, I know how so many northern officers were favoured in place of other more qualified southern officers back then. A northerner who knows nothing, does not have any qualification or intelligence would be promoted to the rank of Brig gen while southern officers will still remain colonels.

Its still happening today, NNPC is crowded with Northerners who have NCE, OND and HND in some weird courses while southerners with BSc, BEng, MSc and other outstanding qualifications in applicable engineering and science disciplines are jobless. This country doesn't belong to a set of persons. It is OUR country. I am still waiting for a time when we will not have a northerner in power either as president or vice..... We in the south here are not fools. (Some will say we've passed the stage of tribe and religion but performance, tell that to Buhari and APC, they are the ones who zoned the ticket to the muslim North. If they wanted true change they would have given us Fashola)

This is an issue that borders on trust,integrity and uprightness,which has been the main selling point of GMB.

While I agree that politics is not fair,as Buhari is eminently qualified to contest for any position in the land ,by virtue of having served in the army.

But what legacy would we leave for our generation and generations unborn if we let this slide? Is ours a country of anything goes? Are there different rules for different folks?

Just imagine a Fashola/Rochas or oshiomole Ticket running against Jonathan/Sambo,...it would have been a done deal even before the election but Buhari and the North will never allow this...a northerner must be president or Vice as if Nigeria is their fathers property.

Obj confirms that he had investigated it before and found it to be intact.

boss I have a few question for you.......if at the end of your four or five years in a university....maybe when you are preparing for service (nysc) and the school carries out a verification exercise and it is found out that you entered the school with an "oluwole" (fake) waec........what do you think the school will do?...........

NB you cannot biuld something on top of nothing.....if buhari had no verifiable waec.....then he shouldn't have been in the army anyway...and so all other diploma or whatever he earned on. A fake or non existent waec is null and void....peace

Oga, that is a standard statement that was issued by Cambridge. I did not write WASC from Cambrige but ask them for my result, all they will give you is the same statement.

When I was to be admitted into tertiary institution, all I presented was my school statement.

We have school pictures showing that he attended the institution.

I have a masters, if someone comes today and starts asking for my WAEC certificate after I have shown my statement of result. I would most likely ignore him.

Buhari diploma at the US war college is equivalent to a masters degree nowadays.

The secondary school is still in Nigeria, you can take time out to visit and see the original result sheet.

The rest is just a waste of time.. Can we focus on the issues.

My sentiments exactly.
Its part of the reasons i sometimes think this country is a huge scam and joke.
We just have the very wrong people at the helms of affair.
I've come accross so many intelligent folks in this country, which makes me wonder why and how mediocrity has always been the order of the day.
Some of the leaders we have are not supposed to even be allowed to head their family talk more of their community.

I studied Accounting in School but I can draw, design and build very well with experience but I don't have the certificate as a civil engineer yet I can't take on big contract but Engineers who I am better than do, who even call me to manage such project, without certificate can anyone believe I have such knowledge?
