FolarinLondon:It is not by size of land that population is determined. Otherwise India's population would not be larger than the USA by almost 3 times. What is in the desert of Northern Nigeria? I advise that until we do a proper census based on ethnicity, we should stop peddling lies and misinformation. |

dokyOloye:The Bold is a big fat lie. Save it for little children. Ndigbo deserve the Presidency like everyone else in Nigeria. All am saying is that my fellow Ndigbo must play politics with the understanding that first Nigeria will not one day just give it to us. And that to get to the Presidency, we need other people's vote - so stop demonizing others and attaching Aligbo as an appendage of Jonathan. Finally, we must commit to the ideology of being true patriotic Nigerians and stop carrying ourselves in a manner that makes others to look at us in suspicion that if we get to the Presidency, we will do damage to the Nigerian Federation. |

Francis5:. Europeans did, u claimed that it wasn't properly done; we did as a nation, but still you are not satisfied simply cos d outcome put you in third position Even without census, mere looking at Nigeria as it is, would u have claimd that Igbos are more in numbers than the other two(Hausas/Fulanis and Yorubas)? Like I said earlier, it's obvious to the blind........... |

Is Nigeria made for one ethnic group Did God create some ethnic groups more equal than others. Where is equity fairness justice and equality If quota system is applied in admission into schools and federal jobs/appointments to give unqualified Northerners a say, We must apply quota system in ensuring that ethnic groups of few thousands are given a say What is good for A is also good for B Say No To Internal colonialism Say No To Political Slavery Say No To Born To Rule Hypocrisy must not be allowed to thrive ![]() |

babaireti:There is no "North" in Nigeria again. The north of 1966 is not the north of today. people shouting "North, north" are deceiving themselves already. Jonathan will win in the MB/SS/SE. Kaduna is split 50-50 and Jonathan will win massively in Kaduna South. Votes from the SW will be split too and shared by Jonathan and Buhari. Jonathan will be victorious in at least 3 SW states. The NW will tilt heavily towards their Buhari and that has always been the case since he first contested against Obasanjo, so it is normal and okay. Voter turn out in the NE will not be too fantastic because of the invading boko haram fighters. At the end of the day, Jonathan wins! Discerning minds can see that Jonathan will be there till 2019. The reasonable northerners also know that power will return to them in 2019. Forget all the APC cretins on nairaland, the scales will fall from their eyes next month. Mark my words. ![]() |

babaireti:Your opinion can never make sense. Who informed you that Igbo is the third largest ethnic group in Nigeria? I must say your opinion is good as your knowledge of ethnic groups in Nigeria. In fact from the crap you vomited in the above post, the said knowledge or lack thereof can only make sense in an idealized world of fairy tales. I guess when Ndiigbo supported PDP under moronic Olusegun Obasanjo, such political support was not suicidal. |

My Okun brothers and sisters in Kogi, Edo , Kwara, Delta state and other places around the country Let's set the record straight here, it's does not make sense for an American to move to Sudan in search of greener pasture when his/her country is far better and this example is applicable to us as Yorubas, there is no where to go within Nigeria except the same South west....... Do you expect Yorubas to move to where(East or North) nothing would be added to their lives? No Idiott. And that is why they will rather travel to US/Uk/Ireland or Canaba where they think that lives would/could be better off |

The op has a point, but since when has it profited Igbos in what ever they do in Nigeria? Whether they vote someone else over their own, or along with most other voters, has any of it made a difference. When Igbos pitch their tent with GEJ, they are advised not to, yet last election Yorubas voted overwhelmingly for GEJ for president, and may do so this time for GMB, no one will advise them not to. I dont think the Igbos have any reason to vote overwhelmingly for any party, for which they are an afterthought immediately before election. As far as I can see, it is really PDP and APGA that even bother to have any grass root presence in the SE, before election. This is APC's mistake imho, they did not begin a presence in the SE soon after the last election, which showed the SE, that they are even considered by them I am not talking about having governors that have simply cross carpeted, but ones who have actually been elected or reelected under the APC platform, because of what they have achieved under APC. That is why people will show support for Okorocha, but not for APC as a party. That is why the saying is "Rochas we know" and NOT "APC we know". Where Igbos are residing in states that are APC, they may vote for them, as they have actually FELT their governorship. APC did not have to do much to gain Igbo support (if they wanted it), as it is well known that Igbos are not that impressed with PDP, but have ZERO track record with APC politically. Igbo's are at the stage that they just want the basics and would like to do the rest themselves, to be honest. They dont really buy into the same promises, they just want the basics. Whether they vote 50/50, or 40/60, or 30/30/30/10 they suspect, or know, that it will make no difference really. |

In 2011, Jonathan had "landslide" victory. In 2015, it is going to be "moonslide." - GEJ has already gotten the support of Afenifere (Yoruba), Ohaneze Ndigbo (Ibos), Middle belt Forum (North Central) and South-South Forum. These group have never been in the opposition since the beginning of the 3rd republic. They usually watch to gauge where the pendulum is swinging and then, decide. But more importantly, these groups want the Nigerian nation restructured and GEJ is the ONLY presidential candidate that will do just that. Go and check your history. Wherever Nidigbo, Afenifere, Middle Belt and South-South Forum aligned with takes the Presidency. No amount of internet or social media war or shout for CHANGE can impact it. The real deciders of presidential votes are not internet savvy. IBB and OBJ know this. They may pretend but they are not happy because Jonathan (David) has retired these giants (Goliaths) o Nigeria politics; and so by February 15, 2015, dare-devil soldiers will be deployed on the streets of Kano, Kaduna North, Katsina and Lagos, where some hoodlums would attempt to foment trouble. No noise will be heard in these states as all will go about their businesses. PDP has already agreed to allow Buhari to continue to collect his pensions for life as a former head of state, but if he make "fiim", he will spend his last days in 14 years jail term for FORGERY and PERJURY. He taught us, so we are waiting for him. As for Tinubu, his cup is full, so Lagos which he traded with in 2011 will be taken from him. Please, do not be angry with me to start rough posts and quoting me. I will reproduce this message for you February 16, 2015. Nigeria does not belong to retired soldiers alone. After all, we have retired Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Accountants, Economists, etc. They have retired and should remain RETIRED |

OP Igbos are never in full support of GEJ and his Co looters in the PDP. Let me remind you that father Ejike Mbaka the most vocal priest against the bad governance of GEJ and PDP is an Igbo that commands great followership in the East. Our major problem is our culture of no kings which is why some imposter leaders claim to speak for Igbos. |
