AIT Reacts To Allegation Of Closing Down Poll Website Because Buhari Was Leading by Collynzo9: 9:16pm On Jan 28, 2015
The African Independent Television has reacted to allegations that it closed down its Presidential poll website because the result was favouring a particular candidate.
The TV station said that contrary to allegations, it closed down the poll because it discovered that some IP addresses were voting repeatedly for a particular candidate, it said that further investigations traced a particular IP address to a software programmed to vote for a particular candidate continuously.

That is the handiwork of APC e-touts. A party premises on the fundamentals of criminality and hooligalism like its presidential certificateless candidate. Its palpable to good observer that their "likes" on pro APC silly comment diminishes over time on Nairaland since the NCC canalise its attention and torchlight on them. The same criminals that tap into Nairaland database destroying anything "destroyable" only oga SEUN can narrate his ordeal

How desperate can APC be?
Instead of them to concenterate on convincing actual humans to vote for them in real elections, they are busy configuring robots to help them win online polls.
What shall it profit them if they win all the online polls and lose the election itself?
I hope they aren't planning to present online poll results as evidence to court or use it to justify their parallel government threat after they lose the election.

Seun Lalasticlala Obinoscopy Ishilove, I think AIT's reaction deserves front page since the allegation made front page too.

Rubbish and lies, how come the poll couldn't prevent people from voting multiple times using the same IP? the online poll set up was flawed then

Someone comes here, posted a comment without ANY link talk less of a credible one. And you swallowed it hook line and sinker? And you used it as a premises to degrade people of divergence view...
Your height of gullibility is astronomical
I put it to you AIT never made such statement. and if they did it'll be foolhardy on their part. So they don't have an application to detect multiple ip addresses?

Well I have created some PHP bots before so it is possible, but the onus still falls on AIT though.

They should have put up proper security checks like multiple captchas, unless of course they just designed the poll for fun and in a hurry.

Anyways, don't know if I truly believe them, but it is obviously possible.

APC are ready to rig physically, online, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, anyway I don't blame them, their candidate can't even defend himself in his certificate saga so I can't expect anything less

If they can clone voters card then poll rigging is a child's play for them

Then the online post was not well implemented.

There should be an auto detect system to prevent multiple voting through the same IP.

A simple "Captcha" sef could have helped. mtcheew!

AIT was in hurry to carry out a poll after the documentary without putting proper measures in place.....AIT should accept that they are INCOMPETENT and CANNOT...I REPEAT.....CANNOT run a CREDIBLE POLL......infact this shows how AIT runs its operations and it also shows how AIT can cause chaos/disunity by misinforming the public
