Wish it were that easy not to worry!
MSU is a great school, but the crowd thing (about 17000+ incoming class) worries me, I may be a crowd guy but not in a classroom setting but I trust God.
Compare that to Duke with just about 1700 incoming class our of which 200+ is just Engineering, it's just a wonderful class setting.

But whichever the case, M grateful to God.

yes oo,i just checked, but that makes it more competitive, for class of 2018 31545 applied and only 1721 were enrolled, its highly rated, whilst michigan 7842 undergraduate studentswere enrolled in 2012,that should amount to over a 1000 engineering students, you making a perfect choice,as an Engineering class is more effective and interactive with a small number, you need to pray hard for duke, but you need to know that despite the relatively larger number at michigan,i know they will have a way of breaking the total into at most 100 students, just like toronto also admits admitting about 800 engineering students, but divide the class into sub-classes of 100 students,i am currently reading Engineering so i know how you feel about class size, irrespective of the small class size considered for Engineering,Engineering classes for the 1st and second year are relatively larger,as all Engineering students averagely offer the same foundation courses. If the however large is it is matched by the facilities available,it is ok,but you know African Engineering sucks, even here in Ghana,Nigerians think Ghana is better of but it is at par or perhaps worst, the only advantage is,Ghanaian universities seldom go on strike, here is the problem of class overflow(you wont think that would happen for Enginnering),inefficiency and understaffment, faculty doesn't care about the students, but the opposite characterise Engineering Abroad, the care about their students,Schooling Abroad is good,as it helps you improve ur research skills and creativity as against someone who is now about plunging himself into intense research and design without being firmed up,he would struggle you know, infact some of us have developed some ideologies that only amount to fitting a square peg in the round hole that Africa is.So i won fix my square head in a square hole

Hello peeps! Happy sunday to you all. To keep the thread lively while expecting good news, can we do some analysis. Which country and unis is better? Canadian unis or american uni? In terms of opportunities, academic flexibility and toughness etc. Note: Lets base our analysis on the mastercard schools.
2ndly, if you recieved this scholarship in both Mcgill and Msu, which one will you go for? For me, I will go for ......(*undecided and probably confused*) oh..I will go for one with better undergrad experience and probably easier academic ie flexibility and even more opportunities. I heard that most canadian unis are less easier and have more tough academic curriculum than the american unis. Mind you: am not afraid of the academic curriculum in both schools and I love both. By the way, I have got a long thing.(*smiles*). I am a man. Whats your take on this?
