OP, I believe the problem could be that you don't have female friends beforehand. Don't attempt to go talk to ladies, rather, have some first and learn to gain some confidence via their friendships. Only them will it come and your fidgeting before a female would be a thing of the past

Don't be so quick to conclude you're in love, you could be lusting for that great smile she've got or those killer hips. So once again, try to take your time.

I dunno how close you two are but one fact is that ladies are not too comfortable with a stranger walking up to 'em and starting a conversation out of the blue.

So try to show around often where this lady stays. Could be at a pub, park, musuem, church, school etc. Become familiar to her first - that's the first right impression.

Next move is to strike an interraction with her. It can be as simple as a passing remark like ''Hello, hope your day is moving great''. Make her laugh that when she thinks of being around you, she thinks of having a good time.

Cultivate the friendship. Treat her like a lady. Be valuable to her, laugh at her jokes. She should know that she can count on you through thick n' thin.

There's a school of thought that says boys n' girls wont always be ''just friends'' - At one point in time or another, she'll be longing for you.

Now this strategy demands you risk being friendzoned, demands a large chunk of your time and effort but the positives abound. Through the days of being just friends, you'll get to know more about this lady. If she've got habits that tend to turn you off, if she already have a lover, if you two are compatible etc.

If you're hell bent on opening up on your feelings without getting to know her better, then I'd advice you to ask her out on a date. That's usually the best medium to use if you wish to express your feelings better.

You don't just walk up to her in a booth and start dropping pick up lines unless you two are kids.

The success of your date would depend largely on her relationship status, your tonality, your lines and most times your wallet.

Now you've got two options to choose from - becoming friends first or moving out on a date, take your time with them.
