Yeah I did.
Sent them a mail with my application ID around November 7th and they said it will be waived. (which they later did).

I leant they are only contacting qualified applicants (based on score, grades and all), maybe I didn't make the cut then.
Hopeful for Duke now.

Yes they accept it.
Both are different kind of test, none is simple and none is hard..

But I still sat for TOEFL PBT, hoping to make for it ( with 60. 58, 60, 600, 4.5)...
Not good enough?

Though I leant from Omenka (a current berkeley scholar) that not attending prep program like USAP, ALA e.t.c will affect me to a large extent...

unfortunately the CR benchmark was 580.... Prep programs are inconsequential as they have no effect on the Ad-Committee....
