Judging by my experience, promiscuity in Nigeria goes to Igbo women.. they might not be practising it well while in Nigeria but immediately they Cross the Border, you get to see them in Action.

I wonder why some Nigerians believe that the Yorubas are loud when they are not Deaf and Dumb. An Average Igbo man can be compared to Dre beats. Even Outside Nigeria, they are the only tribe that Non Nigerians knows as the Loudest Tribe from Nigeria. In my own Opinion, people perceive the Yorubas to be loud because of the high population of Yorubas residing in Lagos. If you go to Anambra, it will def. Be a different story.

I'm not hating on Any tribe. I'm a Nigerian and I belong to every Tribe there is

I am not yoruba but I agree with every single point here.

It is wrong to judge a whole tribe by the actions of a few but it will be totally wrong as well to see the actions of individuals as completely unconnected to the tribe or even race, as the case may be.

There are traits that are connected to each individual, family units, tribe and even race. We can't avoid some of these things. It is called nature. It doesn't mean that everyone from that stock is like that. It is called generalization.

well...that says a lot about you. classless people live in classless neighborhoods and hence know or are known by classless people(be it Yorubas, ibos or hausas). as you have said so some other people that live in classy areas will meet classy Yoruba peeps and have a different opinion from yours...upgrade ma'am.

Am yoruba by 100% but sometimes i fill disgrace the way we play our politics. We claimed to be smart and intelligent but will play it in a foolish way, E.g politics: we play politics of hatred and bitterness, and is setting us backwardness. I pray will realise and adjust in early time.

Concerning cleanliness, i think is personal hygiene. It's depend on level literacy and illiteracy.

Laziness: yoruba were not lazy as others tribes portray infact it's an invalid point that their men depend on their women for sustainability. People judge us by what is happening in lagos whereas they forget that those they found in lagos doing nothing were either rum from home after they might commit an offence.

In short they were the only tribes that accommodate others irrespective of your believes. I pray others emulate this so that we can have a peaceful and united nation.

Yoruba people are highly respectful, unlike some other tribes have live with and I won't mention them also a yoruba person can accomodate you irrespective of your tribe, they are also very social and are ready to follow you anywhere just to assist you. Most of the artisans are honest that's why we contract them in the east for most building project instead of our people .

It is a misconception that the Yorubas are the most intelligent in the country, there are more intelligent people in Edo and Delta.

There is no denying the fact that most yorubas are cowards and very timid. They do not feel safe outside south-west.

It is a misconception also that they are very respectful, they mainly show respect to their folks and people they know. You cannot see a yoruba person lieing down to greet an elder from another tribe.
