Your comment makes you sound ignorant. What if I told you you look dirty?.
Hmmm...pls I'm not fighting with you or something. Even if you say I look dirty, does it remove any hair from my body? No! Does it change my name? No! So you see? U can say whatever you like and I can whatever I like too and it won't change anything. Don't get yourself stress over a comment that doesn't count

RACIST. They are the most racist group I have seen in Nigeria.
FETISH. They believe so much on juju and wickcraftry.
They are complete opposite of the industrious, caring and loving IGBO people.

why not leave yoruba land and go to your biafra state, we cannot accommodate ingrate ibo anymore

We already own the supposed yourba land; we own 70percent of all lands and houses in lagos and the west; we have also purchased even your ancestral lands where your ancestors were buried, infact on my site in ajah, I delibrately constructed my soakaway pit on the grave of the father of the yoruba man whom I bought the land from, that is where all my shiitts and that of my tenants will go to. We now own the west and lagos, so I suggest u and your yoruba folks should leave western nigeria and lagos, and maybe relocate to south sudan, cos we are the new lords of the western nigeria and lagos.

The point was for you to use the natural gift God gave you
(common sense), when talking about folks. Stop the generalization.
This is a social thread and not a private conversation.
Common sense as in? I don't get your annoyance....I was very careful with my words and I didn't generalize, the comment wasn't direct. Well, I don't exchange words online so you can say whatever you like ba wahala #bye

I just marvel at your stupidity, im so sure ur not even In the south west, from my experience only igbos that hear the stories from their 'uncles' in lagos that talk wiv such tribal idiosyncrasy.Anyways, I wont insult you, am 100 % Yoruba and I wasnt brought up to insult other tribes.

thecommunist:

dey there they deceive yourself, you know as well as i know that yoruba people are the most intelligent, the number of nobel laureates and professors in the yoruba tribe can attest to that
and your people keep saying yoruba are cowards and timid, why? because we refuse to fight your battles for you. what foolish man will fight another's battle? when we are not jesus christ the messiah!
and about yoruba peeps not respecting people outside their tribe,well...respect is reciprocal, why should a yoruba guy prostrate to greet an elderly person from a tribe he knows fully well that their younglings wont reciprocate to yoruba elders? and to make matter worse, these youglings are never corrected because "it is not in their culture"

How many nobel laureates do the Yorubas have?Number of professors is not an indicator of intelligence,it might be easier to become a professor in the west than other regions.if you match a first class graduate from the west and that of the south-south that is when you know real intelligence.

Being a coward has nothing to do with fight, nobody is asking the yorubas to fight for them. A typical yoruba from Lagos or Ibadan, when he travels to a place like warri or port-harcourt,you see him being so uncomfortable, always suspecting everyone and looking above his shoulders. He only feel safe when he is around fellow yorubas.

Respect does not have to be selective,if you have it in you,it should flow.

Another misconception is that they are accomodating, that is not true.most landlords in lagos do not rent houses to non-yorubas.My friend and I had the same experience. Also Most of the people don't want to gist with you, they are even angry with you for not been able to speak their language. They assume everyone should be able to speak it.
