Dude, this is getting tired.
May you never get old but if you do may your your age never be dignified... May your aged be a source of joke to those around you... live forever.
mr, you are not using your senses. The person you quoted was not abusing buhari's old age. He was abusing his intonation and there is no harm in that; except of course you are the INTOLERANT type.

When OBJ was president, his intonation got abused repeatedly, yet none of OBJ's supporters were cursing pple like you are doing.

Maybe we should begin to CURSE anyone who had ever called GEJ clueless that they will never live as long as GEJ.

If you know you are INTOLERANT to public criticisms why can't you just remain in daura and never push yourself forward into public view?

I've noticed a trend with APC members and their candidate; they are highly INTOLERANT; which makes them the wrong choice to lead a complex Nigeria.

Mr, your comment is insensible and unreasonable.

I keep saying Nigeria is fvked with the reasoning we have and I really really wish I could change our mentality, but I'm just one man.

Just check out the front page to see how the "so called" intellectuals on this forum are all in agreement that he must be able to speak Yoruba to be a governor.

Please tell me why that should be the case on any level?

Is fluency in Yoruba language now needed to provide clean high pressure water to homes?

Is fluency in Yoruba language now needed to provide electricity to homes?

Is fluency in Yoruba language now needed to providde high quality education and security to the denizens of the state?

I repeat, Naija is fvked when the majority, even those that are educated, continue to reason along tribal lines.

Nigerians would forever pick their incompetent "brother" over a competent "saviour" anytime.

the way yorubas can speak from both sides of the mouth seemlessly must be studied in our universities.

they are trying to con real lagosians into thinking that igbos are comming to chance them from lagos, meanwhile it is them who have come in from their ogbomosho and ilesha caves to colonise indegene yorubas.

is tinubu, fashola nd ambode from lagos state?

is oluremi tinubu from lagos state?

now they are trying to deny igbos their PVC. my friend have been going since monday this week for her own.

vote JIMI AGBAJE, a real indigene Lagosian.

say no to colonialism.

akpa amu mpa anybody wey quote me to speak trash. tongue tongue
once you are not yoruba, you can never understand anything about yorubas. We don't discriminate against each other. An ijebu man is welcome in ogbomosho, while an ogbomosho man finds ekiti to be second home. Lagos is our collective heritage. We are not ibos who hate each other. An anambra man feels superior to the rest ibos, while an ebonyi man can't have a say in enugu. Same thing happens with their Osu caste system. An ekiti man can govern lagos so long he is yoruba. I believe your rants are simply because you have a dumbo president who is sympathetic to your silly course.

Now we're getting to the issues. Correct me if i'm wrong isn't there a commission for culture and tradition in Lagos just like it is in other states. A governor is not meant to know everything and that's why he has commissioners and advisers who are familiar with particular sectors. As a matter of fact, it's the local governments that are supposed to be the carriers of tradition.
and you prolly think the local government workers would want someone who doesn't know anything about its cultures anywhere near their government? The man has biafra written all over him- his accent, dressing and ideologies. He should go rule alaigbo.

It is imperative that you understand what it means for a place to be cosmopolitan. Having Igbos, Yorubas, Fuanis etc living in one city does not make it cosmopolitan if this people have the same way of life. Meaning, if they all speak one language. The cosmopolitan nature comes in when people bring their languages and culture and make it a signature of the city.

Your second paragraph is also faulty because he will not be ruling only Yorubas but everyone who calls Lagos home.
[size=18pt]Lagos is Yoruba state.

Said it a while ago. The lack of power is more than made up by the comfort of opposition. The best days in the sun for the APC are coming to an end. If power is won expect it to come with widespread public angst. At least those APC governors who cannot isolate and insulate their local economies will run out of excuses and lightening rods if their party is handed power by the ever hopeless and irresponsible general public who cannot even wipe their backsides without Federal Government 'Intervention.'

Political power is just overated. Even the erstwhile high flying Tony Abott is fending off a palace coup just months after sweeping to victory.

Yet, it was an African like you, albeit an African American, but an African none the less, by the name of Martin Luther King who also had a dream.

Its amazing that this noble dream, impressed on us with timeless words by this big dreamer, would come to fruition in a society where the variance in differences between races (I.e white/black) is much higher than it is in ours (black/black).

So yes, I also have a dream and I do not care from where the realization starts.

I do not care and if I had the power to make your wish come true, I would grant it, as far as he is the most qualified candidate.

I don't possess such powers though, they lie in the hands of the masses who already have preconceived prejudices.

He that comes to equity must come with clean hands.

If you claim you want Nigeria to shin tribal sentiments on political office.

Make a Yoruba man or hausa man your governor in the east and let the rest of us learn from it.

You are not having a dream, you are actually having a nightmare and the only way it would lead you to is the road to doom.

Go read up on Nigeria's history viz: The first republic, First coup & counter coup, The civil war etc. It is this inanate greed of your ibo kinmens; wanting to lord over and take what belongs to others that lead to the massacre of your grand parents.

An ibo man will NEVER become the Governor of Lagos. The more you agitate for it, the more you sow the seed of resentment in the heart of the Yorubas towards you. The climax of it all would be a GENOCIDE II against you scums

RUBBISH. A COMPLETE ONE

Do you expect a yoruba man to be a king in an Igbo land?
Do you expect an Hausa man to be a king in a yoruba land?

The only reason this could happen is if you mixed and you understand the compete culture of the land else ship urself back to wherever you descended from.

That is why it is an insult to us that we are even having this discussion with you ibo people.

If you cannot take something don't do it to others or expect others to accept it.

Please, let's stay on track, as you seem to be crossing over.

Culture is one thing, Democracy is another.

Yes in a culture, there are certain rights, or "righteous" prejudices, so to speak, that could be over looked, as that is a major constituent of a "Culture".

Democracy however is a system where everybody has a say. Yes, that "say", or that opinion might still be clouded in prejudice, but there is more hope in the system to sway minds from prejudice to logic.

We practice a Democracy, not a Monarchy.
