Why cant aspirants in lagos claim their state of origin and be confident that they will be voted for.

I have a friend his name is Ighodalo from Edo state. His father moved to Ibadan, Oyo state many years back before he was born.This guy speaks better Yoruba than many of us his friends, he even speaks Yoruba Proverbs.He cooks Yoruba meals infact to me he is Yoruba. He can't even speak his native language, this is the person who has truly integrated. I did my NYSC in Imo State in 2006 and, lord knows, the Ibos are hospitable. They are, and should be considered, the best set of people this country has to offer.
