1. Postpone elections to demotivate opposition supporters and level of excitement about Buhari

2. Increase attacks on opposition leaders, accuse them first of rigging plans to create confusion and prepare ground for my own rigging plans.

3. Put the INEC chairman in a spot where he looks incompetent and takes all the blame for election postponement.

4. After he has taken the fall for postponing the elections cook up lies about INEC chairman then fire him.

5. Appoint a new chairman who will act to the presidents script

6. Go to the polls, rigg and win, no one will care after a few weeks.

6. Any uprising by the North be blamed on Buhari

This election has shown me one thing.

Perhaps Gowon was right.....Nigeria is not ready for democracy.

Over the last one month we have seen a lot of unseemly noise and comments about the electoral process, and the umpire as well as politicians from both sides. It has now gotten to the point where the eelctoral umpire....who conducted elections that have been favourable to the ruling party...is now accused of plotting against the ruling party.....simply because the party may lose the election.

I have not seen such blatant tribalist commentary since the events surrounding the June 12 election...where several Northern governors said that they would not recognise the vote that gave MKO the presidency....and even accused the then NEC of being complicit in selling the vote.

I would like to ask the South South (my region BTW)....suppose if Goodluck loses.? Does that mean that development for your region ends? What about your state governors and LG chairmen? Aren't they supposed to be working to develop you? You won't lose deriviation....that is set in stone (the Supreme Court said so). You people have to get rid of the idea that if your man is not in Abuja, you would lose out. Lose out? Now is the time to get your governors to work for you....or is it that you don't want them to change?

I would also like to ask my Northern brethren....suppose Goodluck wins? It does not mean you would lose out on the development of your region...that is what your governors and LG chair are supposed to be working for? Must we live under violence threat because a Northern leader lost?

The sad thing about this is by accusing Jega of being biased....it says far more about those accusing Jega than Mr Jega himself. It also says one thing to me(and this is my personal opinion....and I hate it).

Jega must resign. How come a person like me who registered before 2011 election could not find his PVC in his ward. I have check my eligibility online and all my details are intact-which means I have no issue. The question is why is my card not ready? I believe Jega is trying to disenfranchise most of us in the south south.

When jonathan was voted in enmasse in 2011, Jega wasn't cooperating with the north abi? Its only now that the handwriting on the wall is as clear as daylight that he is now compromised.

The reason Borno has a higher PVC than most southern state is because they want change and the only way they can do it is through the ballot box. I feel sorry for them because GEJ has failed them in protecting them. Most of our southern brothers don't really give a sh1t about the election. Go the streets in the southern states and ask how many plan on voting, most will tell you they don't want to vote because they don't trust the system and government. Even my parents have not collected their pvc in Warri and don't plan on voting. The election should not be postpone but should hold so the country can move on based on who ever win.

You are simply deluded, do you think that someone like Alex Ekwueme who had the opportunity to steal from the treasury as a Vice president in the late 70's and yet didn't take a dime would now be bought with money at the twilight of his life?
