When apply to UC without an agent do you fill a genuine entrant form for those who didn't use an agent? Because in my case I didn't fill it and I wasn't asked to... So am wondering why they assessed me without a GTE? And made all those decision. Even after asking me to send them my offer declaration so my COE can be prossessed? Am totally confused.

Something went wrong somewhere. Either u did something out of place or ur previous record or misunderatanding with the previous agents have come to hunt u. Getting into University of canberra is pretty easy conpared to other schools in oz i have cone across . the only question i will ask is WHERE U AWARE OF A GTE FORM WHEN U APPLIED?? Does guys no be mumu u probably did something without knowing it seems.

Bellong do you know how to go about getting this 3 month course sorted? Any lawyer in the house ?

bellong:

Are you applying for a 489 Visa?

Bjazeez,

The law graduate must first be admitted to practise by any of the States as a Lawyer. The process is a little bit long because it includes minimum of three months course before being admitted.

S/he can apply for the Canada Express entry Visa as a paralegal person. It is cheaper and faster.

The course will only be done after the Lawyers admission body in his/her preferred state assess qualifications. Let the person contact the lawyers' association in his preferred state. He will send his university transcript, law school transcript along with call to bar certificate, must get 7point in all band in IELTS, get letters of recommendation from his NBA chapter, and from two other senior legal professionals.

Let the guy get the info himself and he will understand better.

. I didn't fill any GTE form. But I remember the they school called me time asking me if I applied to another school, and I told them USQ. But if you followed my post I had applied to with BCIE. Whom asked me for bank statements( i brought my brother's he said it was a business acct) I told him to withdraw the app.

Glad you are having a good time. It is a big move so there will definitely be some teething issues, but you will overcome; everybody does. If you need help getting around, or need help with the house hunt, hit me up. Will see how I can help.

Just look at it as one of the little challenges people encounter on their way to bigger things. What assessing body and what occupation did you apply for. Also got a negative response from vetassess last year because I used my OND only for a Civil engineering technician assessment instead of using my B.Tech which I thought would be too huge for an occupation like that.

You can go for the technician option suggested by vetassess since its almost 100 percent sure that they would give you a positive assessment for it...thats if you're in a hurry. Another option is to go through Engineers Australia since you have an Engineers degree.

@Bolded, you will definitely study as a home student as a PR, in that you can study part-time, online or by distance. As for fees, any program above bachelor's degree is FULL FEE Paying, what this means is that they are not subsidized by the government even for domestic students. Most Master's program will set you back by about $36K (assuming a 12 unit program at $3k/unit)

This evening I just got an email from UC saying that my application has been rejected that I didn't fufill the GTE criterion here is what they sent to me and I realised I didn't fill the GTE form at all. I didn't because UC didn't ask me. Am shocked.

(iii) if the applicant is a minor — the intentions of a parent, legal guardian or spouse of the applicant; and
(iv) any other relevant matter

In this regard we wish to advise you that you do not satisfy the University’s GTE guidelines. Consequently your application to the University of Canberra has been withdrawn.
