I don't think you should accept the gift cos you stated that you don't like the guy. Accepting whatever he has to give will make you compromise your standards cos at some point in time, you will feel you owe him a favor and start being nice to him thereby giving the poor guy false hope. You can politely reject it by telling him "No thanks but I just can't collect it, I appreciate the gesture behind it tho" or by simply refusing to see him.
