what about bringing those machines here? most of them weigh btw 400-900kg embarassed

That is the biggest challenge, cost of shipping is usually almost equivalent or more than the cost of the machine itself. I hear Sea shipping is cheaper than Air Freight. The duration difference is what I'm not sure of yet.

one company rep said it will cost me $850 to ship a 800kg machine by sea shipping to nigeria 35days but i dont knw how much the customs are going to charge for clearing and how long it will take...and 3rd shipping coy wont wanna reduce the $5.5 they charge for normal shiping embarassed

Hello Millionaires!

I am in plantain flour production.
I have used my first tranche to procure land for two years (the landlord insisted on two years payment). That done, I need detail information on how I can register trademark for my business, processes, costs, and duration before I get the certificate.

Did any one of you did any registration with the local government where your business is to be located? If yes, what registration is that?
Aside Nafdac and Trademark, what other registration is compulsory before I start production.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Terry! The trademark is done in Abuja at Federal Ministry of trades and Investments! Its a simple procedures that requires you to register your custom marks/logo. This is necessary for Nafdac registration procedures. Go to the nearest Nafdac office in your state for detailed informations about your product registration requirements, floor plan schematics and food grade equipments requirements before proceeding further with the rented property. This will properly guide you as you begin the procedures!

Incase you don't have contacts in Abuja for trademarks, PM me and i can arrange for you. You need to start processing it now as it takes time to clear!

Cheers!

We have received reports that some of you are diverting funds for other uses. This will be a great disappointment if this is confirmed as the continuity of the program depends on your performance.........YouWiN!

Already?
Please, let's resist the temptation, "like it has already been emphasis on this forum" build the business first and other things will follow.

God bless dearest NOI, she promised to look into it only some few hours ago and here's already an update...indeed the update's a great relief for those that have not receive first tranche.

@Purity1, I personally think u were a little harsh on Sydneyobiioha, he was just asking an innocent question, remember we are all here to learn, he has reached a stage he needs help, thats why he asked, and believe me there are many awaedees waiting for this answer... Thank God 4 d good news on payments this week for those yet to be paid... We are our brothers keeper... Cheers

Bad news 4 Da house: Just heard from a reliable source from APC camp that if Buhari wins he will scrap all d program that Goodluck is waisting Nigeria money on including YouWin. Iv decided 2 work fully 4 Jonathan. I can't afford to loose N8 million naira. I better spend my money to work for Good luck.

@sunylee1, I share ur fears too. But if all d 1500 of us Youwin 3 awardees can convince just 10 people each 2 vote GEJ and d over 200k Youwin 4 applicants( just assuming they are up to that) can do same, I believe dat would go a long way 2 helping GEJ to victory and helping ourselves secure our 2nd and 3rd tranches. So far I've been able 2 convince 55 people who had initially planned 2 vote APC to change their minds and vote GEJ on that day, and I'm determined to convince up to 200 people b/f March 28. D major problem GEJ in having, especially in my state is dat most people are not aware of his numerous achievements, seems his publicity people are not doing enough in that regard.

U don't need anyone to tell u Buhari will scrap d Youwin program if he wins, its very obvious already, so please let's do what we can to ensure GEJ is re-elected.

Let him go to the ministry himself and pay the fee. Trademarks take time to collect: may even reach 6 months before it is ready. Speakign from personal experience.

I totally disagree with the use of that word "Reliable Source". This could be a rumour easily dropped by a particular party in order to play on you people's fears.

And this information has just succeeded in politicising this program which will make it more likely to be scrapped by a succeeding Government.

And please for your information even the next tranches are not 100 percent sure because the FG reserves the right to scrap it at anytime without notice if they so deem it fit.

Read the clause and you will undeestand.

I wish everyone the best of luck.

You will deceive yourself if u think that Bihari can ever continue with YouWin. Just pray that you won't be forced to vomit your tranche 1. I never do politic but I just have to wake up to reality & start working for Goodluck. That is the only way we can secure our 2nd & 3rd tranches. The earlier we stop deceiving ourselves that we want to be apolitical the better!

Mohammed, I like your style. Iv started convincing people also, only that am starting late. Iv convinced more than 300 people to vote GEJ. Those are the people that would have voted Bihari b4 I convinced them using Goodluck acheivement & I still hope to convince at least 1,000 people because I use to meet lot of people based on my profession. Only that a realised a bit late. But I got a document from an awarded that highlight 25 achievement of Goodluck Jonathan. Anyone that need it I will send it to him/her via email.
