Dear nairalanders, PLEASE HELP ME TO THANK A DONOR IN NAIRALAND. She donated A some of N50,000 (FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA) to Folake. I wanted to confirm in the morning but i did not have access to the e-banking computer in GTB. I quickly joined the queue. But I could not wait because the queue was not moving fast. I wanted to see Folake as soon as posible before going for other things. I wanted to tell Folake about the N50,000 but I was yet to confirm.I wanted to be sure since there was no alert. I just confirmed now and I am overwhelmed. I cant wait to tell Folake about it. It will be hard for her to believe. asuoka: Thank you very much. Folake is strong in mind. She resigned at first and declined treatment as soon as the doctor broke the news. She was just crying and never wanted to go for the treatment. She said she cant afford to spent so much money considering her status and the doctors at Ife OAU were not talking with strong voice about her chance of surviving. I looked like 50/50. The new developmen[/b]t We have move Folake back home. This is because of money. We pay 30,000 per night at Eko hospital. This not part of the treatment which is N60,000 per week (not including very expensive drugs that they can just prescribed unexpectedly). Her condition now is better. [b]The blood coming from her mouth and nose had cleared only phlegm-like with patches of stain now coming out. We will be moving her to the hospital every day as that will reduce cost. A very tough task but we will do it. I can also upload some pix and bills and test results and xrays. All very recent. But I will like physical verification if people can volunteer. Thank you very much for all that have shown concern on Folake's case. One of them does not want her name to be mentioned. I will drag Folake to nairaland by the grace of God to see this thread when she is ok. |

@ isotonic, thanks for the concern and prayer. If only EKO hospital was within my route, I would have gone to check on her myself. But work and family constraints won't give me the chance to do so at this point in time. I'm appealing to well known nairalanders who live or work around the Ikeja axis to go to EKO hospital in bank anthony way to check on Ms Folake. God bless you as you do so. May God heal her soon. |
