Mods, I don't know if this Section is the best for this but do Justice if its not by moving it.

I don't normally conter-threads but this has gone on for too long. The Bible, just like Law, has been subject to too many different interpretations, sometimes detrimental to the people of God as was done here https://www.nairaland.com/2152421/oral-anal-sex-spiritually-hygienic


The bible in 1 Corinthians 7: 2- 5 in simplified English says;

3: The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to
her husband.

4: The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the
husband does; and likewise also the husband does not have authority over
his own body, but the wife does.

5: Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer, and come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.


Pulpit Commentary

Verse 4. - The wife hath not power, Marriage is not a capricious union, but a
holy bond. "They two" become "one flesh."


Exposition

The wife hath not power of her own body,.... To refrain the use of it from her
husband; or to prostitute it to another man:

but the husband; he has the sole power over it, and may require when he
pleases the use of it:

and likewise also the husband has not power over his own body: to withhold
due benevolence, or the conjugal debt from his wife; or abuse it by self-
pollution, fornication, adultery, sodomy, or any acts of uncleanness: but the
wife; she only has a power over it, a right to it, and may claim the use of it:

( Reversal)
this power over each other's bodies is not such, as that they may, by
consent, either the husband allow the wife, or the wife the husband, to lie
with another.
( Here, all can see what is prohibited - partner swapping or open-marriage <the Smiths I gat my eyes on u>, as the case may be)

This is to guide against Cheating et al.

Let's not use double standards in Biblical interpretations. In 1 Cor 2:9, it says "ye are God's husbandry , ye are God's building". Doesn't it mean that we belong to God and for his purpose at all times?


Conclusion:

In the same way, Wives and Husbands belong to each other let's not let our marriages crash because of Trivial issues while the Devil rages on unchecked. These are his mere distractions and usual tactics

So if ur partner even desires Armpit or Ear sex, oblige as long as it not willful forñîcatîon.

He says here to "prove all things. Even if its ur most revered man of God. Because sometimes some greatest men of God can make some slight errors in their interpretations. This can be so because the book of Haggai 2:9 that says "The Glory of the Later generation (present) shall be greater than the former".

Also, Col 1:27 that shows us that " Even the mystery which hath been hidden from generations, but is now made manifest to his saints".

The revelation of each generation of saints (Christians) is not the same and like the Bereans in Act 17: 10-13, Prove all things. Hold fast to that which is Right not that which you Think is right.
