Seeing how our phones have become virtual
extensions of our lives, it is no wonder that some men guard them more fiercely than ever. However, you would think that once you are in a relationship, those walls can be torn down. No ma! Not that he is cheating on you, either. If you cannot fathom why
your boyfriend will not let your near his phone, (for those whose Bfs do such)
Here are some reasons why;

Private details not shareable

Bank account details, important passwords etc– there are many a thing that he might have on his phone that he does not want anyone looking into – no offence. Not necessarily you, but maybe you are just not ‘there’ in your relationship yet. Think about it.



Feeling Monitored

Although he might not have anything on his phone that he does not want to show you, his reason for not doing so might stem more from feelings of being
monitored and trust issues than actual stuff. The line between trust and mistrust is not that thin, but you are pushing it if you keep asking him for password. Believe it or not, even guys need their private space. he will get riled up, and you will look like a pushy girl.

Aura of mystery

This does not apply to all guys – but there are many out there who would rather have you second-guessing yourself rather than knowing his inside out, especially if you have not been dating for very
L ong. They know it very well that when you always want the things that you cannot have – and they’ll make sure that their phone is one of those things.

Friends Talks

How would you like if he was eavesdropping on you talking about guys stuff with your friends? Turn the tables and that is exactly how he would feel if you opened up his BBM or Whatsapp group chat with his friends. From talks about ladies to business - that is
a sacred male territory, and he does not want you anywhere near it.

Innocent chats

Most guys usually don’t like their girls going through their phone is because they realize just how unreasonably possessive they can get over the littlest
things. Just to save each other a needless squabble on ‘who’s this girl?’ just because a former colleague got in touch with him, some boyfriends will keep their
phones guarded. How innocent those chats are – you be the judge.

Media

Being cute and goofy on photos is one thing, looking like the devil’s spawn is another. Everybody has photos of themselves and some private photos on their phones that they would not want to show it to the world – least of all, their partners – but they just have not got around to deleting them yet. he probably values you too much to put you through that – and might just be doing you a favor!

Hacking

Either he has had a bad experience in the past, or some deep-seated trust issues – but there are some guys out there who might actually have fears of their Girlfriends hacking their phones. We are not saying you are capable of something so despicable

Keeping in touch with someone you hate

If you have a lot of common friends, chances are that you will also have people in your lives who you might not be great buddies with – but he thinks they are totally cool. To save you some grief and once again, to avoid unnecessary drama – he just might
keep things on the down-low.

I believe there are only 3 reasons why a guy won't let his babe touch his phone which are:
1 Not to let you see his chat with other babes.

2 His naughty chat with his guys.

3 collection of mojos on his phone.
