talking about masters level
I don't really know much about it's feasibility in Nigeria but career options definitely exist as a lecturer, researcher, working as an expert with relevant agencies etc. I believe that others can still chip in a thing or two though

thank you very much sir..... I really appreciate your kind gesture. I'll be going for ionospheric physics and radio propagation but the urgent issue I need now is that we are to choose either one or two elective for the first session.... so am confuse whether to chose one or two... but what are/is the advantage of doing two electives at the masters level? if am to chose two please which other one should I add with the ionospheric physics to raise my chance of getting employed?..... others electives includes: Lower Atmosphere, (Geophysics)solid earth physics and solar physics.. which one should I go for pls advice, I don't really have flaw for geophysics. tanx for your quick response.

I can help you with some of my materials. I just finished my masters degree in Space physics. spacejacob@rocketmail.com

I'll be happy if anyone in the house can recommend any good professional course I can enrol for, while serving, as I will be going for service by may. By the way, I'm a physics (pure) graduate. Thanks.

Professional course will depend on what U like doin or the future career path U wanna tow. Would U love to go into Computing (networking, desktop support, app development, programming etc), Consulting (project management, SAP, human resource, advisory services), Oil and gas (HSE, Nebosh) etc. So U have to be specific and know wat U want. Then peeps can advice. Hope U get my drift

Then U should research these fields for professional courses or certifications. U can start by goin online. Google is ur friend.
U can visit this website
http://www.vtc.com/showall.htm
they offer courses online. Refine ur search to include only courses U might be interested in. Then check if there's a place in the country that offers the course(s) U want.
Pls beware of many people who would come to camp to advertise their trainings, MANY ARE SCAMMERS

U welcome... So glad I could help. U could also download video tutorials (if they are available) for the course(s) U want. Believe me, they really help. Youtube and a torrent search engine would be ur best bets for those. And U could also network wit peeps who have the same interests as U. They can also be a huge source of materials for U. Happy New Month to all Physicists around the world!

@khaynoni,

In addition to what simiolu1 said, you can get so many tutorials and do some self training by if you have good internet connection. Lynda.com, vtc.com, and infinteskills tutorials abound online through diverse torrents.

ORACLE or HSE...which is more?
Re: Physics Graduates: Lets Meet Here by simiolu1(m): 9:26am On Mar 16, 2015
MrAmerica:

ORACLE or HSE...which is more?
More or Better?
I THINK HSE trainin and certification should be more expensive than oracle.
Better is relative. What's better for me may not be better for U.
So U should look at d career prospects for the two options, weigh d one U'll PREFER to build a career with and just quick with it!
Re: Physics Graduates: Lets Meet Here by MrAmerica(m): 10:11am On Mar 16, 2015
Tanx bro, pocketwise am lookin at HSE n its advnc quali. Would u hav idea abt its cost, gud trainin centr n its maket demand?

I said & I quote... "I THINK".
U must note dat prices of the trainings differ from one trainin centre to another. U must also factor in d cost of the professional exam before knowing which is more expensive. But it is imperative that wherever U decide to do d trainin, U must be comfortable with the price, d environment and in some cases, d reputation of d place. All tha best!
