Gaining admission to study medicine now in a school like ABU is not an easy task.So many politics is involved.Hope you understand my point? I graduated from ABU and I know how they operate.

I'll advice you take the Agric and continue seeking for medicine.In case you don't get medicine, you have something to fall back on.

Better still, if you feel ABU will waste your time, I suggest you chose another University except for sure you have a strong backing with good Jamb and Post Jamb results, then you will definitely get the course.

On a lighter note, they say 'an ABU Graduate is ahead of you naturally'.Very funny slogan but keep that in mind

Now, it's left for you to accept the cheap biscuit, or you go back, earn more than enough, then come back to request for the cuisine.

But then, it is how a child whistles that will tell how that child would blow a trumpet. If you're finding it hard to score excellent in your utme, imagine what the story would be when you manage to get MBBS.

Ask yourself what you really want to be, check your qualities, and decide if you've got what it takes!

I am currently in my penultimate year in the university, currently studying agriculture, One thing I believe in life is that, God works in mysterious ways, I am not telling you to go 4 agriculture neiþher am I telling you not to. But to be on the safer side agriculture is the best course you can study right now,it is a course that enables you to be your own boss,Ýou work conveniently, earn good cash and you will still have a lot of spare time on your hand, I am studying Agriculture today not because it was given to me against my will,but because I chose it during my pre-degree days and I chose it during jamb. NUC regulation states that most schools should increase the slots given to jambites during admission processing. Agric is about to be revolutionised in this country. So watch out!!!!!!

Funny it may sound, Agriculture is the next big thing in this country, Life has just thrown an opportunity on your laps,you certainly wont realize it now,but you will bet grateful if you actually take this course a few years from now...best of luck on whatever decision u make

Pls go for it, I have a friend who wanted medicine, ended up in botany, tried jamb many times and didn't work out, he graduated with first class honours, he has two Mscs, nigeria and abroad, starting his Phd soon abroad with full scholarship..

Agriculture isn't bad, and u can rewrite jamb while studying It..

Just ask God for direction.

My sister was in the same situation about 10 years ago. Find out if you can change your course after the first year. When you know that is possible, endeavour to pass all your 100 level courses even higher than most medicos on your level find out the extra courses you might not be taking together sinceAgic and Medicos take almost same courses in100L and add them to your courseload, Pray for favour and at the end of your first year, cross over to medicine. For all youcare some of the students that were admitted for medicine don't survive the first year and you will nicely take one of such spots. Wishing you the best.

[/code]The same thing that happened to me, I applied for Medicine in UduSok they gave me Microbiology, but I forsake the admission and gotta try Matric Studies, Perhaps I'll get medicine, Guy go for what you have interest on.

Before i Advice you to go for it or Forfeit it, What was your Jamb Score and post utme Score, Coz i Believe if they were both High, A.b.u could have Giving you the Medicine or Something close to it. Many People are blinded by the Conviction that Medicine is their Passion, when literally, they do not have what it takes. No offence Bro, But if you believe youre 'Academically Excellent',you believe youre Meant for More, and Age is not is not Encroaching on you, then Buckle up and Prepare for Jamb 2015.

My dear, sometimes dis kinda situation needs subjective decisions. What applies for u may not work for anoda. First of all, how intelligent are u? Are u certain of making 260 and above in Jamb and about 70% score in post utme. If u are, den u can leave it. For me, pick d course , try make 3.5 and above, write anoda jamb, in dat case, u are losing notin, u can switch with 3.5 cgpa to a better course or switch if u make it in jamb.

with the whole sensitization program about agriculture,you still de waste time abi.sharp sharp go collect ur admission letter go start school my brother.am presently an abusite and i assure you,u wouldn't regret reading agric in the nearest future,though all thanks to gej for the agric sector.

with agric you can still become a herbalist. its a blessing in disguise

I am sorry to say but this isn't totally true. In most schools you can't cross.
