yea, little I no of Norway, once u can have admission, and pay the money into the university account. you are 90+% guaranteed of getting your visa. unlike Canada or USA that u can be refused with flimsy excuse even with full payment of fees in advance.

PS: Geoscience is very competitive here. Don't want to discourage you, but the minimum requirement is a second class upper!!!
check the websites anyways to confirm

@ laquetee it's very important, if not they won't even look at it. Just look for any court around you and notarize your document. I think what really you should be looking at to notarize is your first degree cert, ssce result, any recommendation letter you have and anything academic. No need to start thinking of notarizing your SOP or CV it's not important.

It's a requirement brother, all document must be certified with exception of CV and SOP. Although, the SOP must be signed by you. You can do this at high court or the institution that issued the certificate.

thanks for the clarification. something else that has been of concern to me is the exemption from the English language proficiency test (as seen on the GSU list). which document would I use to stand in to show I am exempted from the test? I mailed the school about it and they told me they will notice it and act accordingly but I am still afraid they might mistake it for an incomplete application. pls how did you go about yours or pls profer a solution based on your experience.I should be sending my application by wednesday. thanks.

It's simple, go to your institution. Tell them to write a letter addressed to school in Norway stating you studied in English during your bachelors. That's all you need bro! Best of luck.

There's no school here that offers free accommodation except you apply for quota scholarship. However, quota scholarship is only for schools that has bilateral agreement with schools in Norway. The only school I know as per UiS is university of Uyo. Also, you don't need any TOEFL or IELTS to study here except for TUC. Thanks!

@ Sylvester it will really be nice if you start reading the forum from page 1. It will ans most or all the questions you have. Most schools in Norway take only once so if u want to get in this year, you should apply asap as most schools portal will close by March. Tuition is free but u need to show a certain amount to know u can carter for yourself once your there.

Oslo, Trondheim and Stavanger are all good to be honest, with Oslo in the lead.

Yes, same amount of money for both MSC and BSC.

For undergraduate studies, try UiN. UiO also accept but deadline has passed. You are not elligible to apply to other schools if you need a visa to enter Norway.

Deadline for UiN application is March 1st. Apply and send your docs asap.
