I had my doubts just like you. I hardly believe any politician because whatever they say is always suspicious. But one thing I value most is honesty and integrity. First of all, he was given 30 minutes for the presentation, he kept to time even to the acknowledgement of the Chairman of the occasion. Secondly, one of the enthusiastic supporter of APC asked him what he will do in the first 100 days in office. He told him frankly that when he went for all the rallies and saw the zeal of the people, he got scared. He said truthfully to himself that he wouldn't promise much but he would definitely work on putting the country back on track. This is very rare of our politicians who are known for playing to the gallery.

Thirdly, a sign of an honest leader is accepting responsibility for whatever goes wrong. He publicly admitted that he took responsibility for whatever happened then. Compare this with the present government and see the difference.

I am not worried about the past because what has been done can never be undone. I am particularly concerned about the present and the future. In the past, I wasn't an active player, but now I have the chance to do the right thing and make a change even when it doesn't go the way I want, I will say frankly to myself that I have done my own.

Our parents were indifferent because of their sentiments and other reasons best known to them as at that time, we are still suffering from that indifference up till today. WHAT WILL WE TELL OUR CHILDREN?

My sister(?), I see you as a truthful person, listen to your heart and please don't be swayed by emotions around. It is time for you and I to do something about the progress of our country. Will we rise up to the occasion?

NIGERIA IS NOT FINISHED, NIGERIA IS NOT DEAD, NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN. I'll definitely play my role to make it envy of all nations in the world.

May you find peace of mind in whatever you believe. Thanks
May the blessing and peace of Almighty God be with you and everyone of us that want positive changes.
Amen

Anybody can book Chatham house with a few of ~£800 to present na undecided its like students bookig the library. the workers there don't care what you've come to do they think he came to address his people in Diaspora . While you are here thinking he went to address Europeans lol
Chatham house is a popular location for any goverment official to present to the commonwealth and speak to correspondence .
Therefore, Doing this tells me he might be hiding his real agenda of visiting the UK because why will he rush to the UK and go to Chatham house? Is he trying to get votes from Nigerians in UK? :/
Still support his will & wish him luck.
Seriously? So this's the new line now? Even After opening his speech by thanking them for inviting him.

We will be tough on terrorism and tough on its causes":

If I am elected, we will increase intelligence gathering & border patrols to choke #BokoHaram
i still dont know how GMB will fight corruption with Amaechi, Tinubu, Atiku etc still members of his party.

Which Bokoharam is he talking about? This boko haram that will inless than 2weeks go into extintion.

Our gallant SOLDIERS will soon wipe out & close the dark era of boko haram...

I don't know about the channels TV part. But what I do know is that it is definitely not because Buhari is afraid of answering questions. Definitely APC got wind of certain things. I'm sure they had their reasons.
For me I think the APC know they are runing an impressive campaign and yes a debate organized by a credible station like Channels wd hv bn another opportunity for GMB to prove himself but NO the APC chose to opt out to play "games". Think of a woman (PDP) MADLY in love wt a guy(BuHari) n he turns her down-hell hath no wrath like a woman spurned. Thats exactly what is happenin when u listen to d Fayoses n FFKs....In their concentrated anger they make so many mistakes while still makin GMB mo popular e.g who made ds Chatham event ds popular! So anyhw u look at it, its a WIN WIN situation for GMB

As an ardent follower of GEJ, Listening to GMB today makes me have a re-think of whom I will vote for. In all Honesty, I think we should give GMB a chance. This man speaks with so much passion on what good governance should be. I've seen someone who is never too in a haste to make promises just the way other politicians does. He choose his words carefully and don't rush to make promises. Citing corruption which is d main problem we have as his priority when he is re-elected gives me hope that he should be given a chance.

We the electorate have the power to vote him out if he fails to deliver and am sure politicians knows this now that the people are willing and ready to defend their votes.

I might be considering voting for him, but I'll wait a little bit before making up my mind. But for now GEJ still has ny heart even though he failed woefully in some areas affecting the masses.
... My dear Sister, i think i had same rethink sometime ago when i heard GMB addressing journalists on how he is going to competently handle our current challenges...i used to dislike him, but he won my heart from that particular day, because i could see honesty, truthfulness, boldness and courage written all over him...i believe this man really meant well for our great country... he wont only have my vote but that of my entire household...God bless Nigeria..

Hhhhmn., El-Rufai that hate GMB before now
telling us that Buhari is now converted Democrat,
shouting change outside wouldn't solve Nigeria
problems.... now ask yourself again is GMB really
a changed person from being a Dictator? He said
he took responsibility for everything that happened
(forcefully removing of Democratically elected
President) under his watch yet he refused to
asked Nigerians for forgiveness.. APC will soon
run out of lies They have forgotten that no matter
how far lies travel, TRUTH will always catch up
with it and even overtake it. TRUTH TALK: APC
cannot deceive 170 million people. Its high time
Nigerians knew about the health condition of
Buhari ...

Haba ... Chatham House does not have capacity for 2000 people. Their biggest hall sits 250.

"While Chatham House hosts up to 100 Members Events each year, some are more popular than others, and there is nearly always restricted capacity (for example, the Joseph Gaggero Hall seats 250, and the Neill Malcolm Room and Henry Price Room have a combined standing capacity of 200 for receptions). - See more at: http://www.chathamhouse.org/events/our-events-explained#sthash.ldtIxXFT.dpuf"

With over 2000 applications to attend the event, it's a full house at Chatham House.

The APC government should sue the people mostly pdp people eg fayose for lies its taking to the public that GMB is in a hospital in London,Nigerians are not fools that someone or some people will just come out make annoying statemnts and expect people to forgive them and let go without any apology from their part,Nigeria is a very good land and he that can lie can steal, therefore we will not allow people like that to be at the helm of affairs in Nigeria,Nigeria was not like that, and nigeria is a very good land,I hate corruption and Nigeria must not be owned by corruption, cop I cop mentality is corruption and should be destroyed out of Nigeria
Hey bro no nid to sue nobody! I guess u ddnt c d circular on d recruitment of Fayose, FFK and Ayedee as our towncriers. Seriosly we need ds clowns to keep at what they are doin cos dy they are campaigning for the general. Ask urslf who made this whole Chatham event this popular! Aha u dig my drift!
