Nigerian architecture is boring and too one dimensional! The ones that make an attempt at constructing something fanciful just end up making the buildings look like some cheap imitation of a contemporary middle-eastern/arabic building!

Things are better put in perspective when you consider that some of the most iconic buildings that draw millions of tourists ever year to places like Egypt, Athens and Rome are thousands of years old! I speak of such wonders of the ancient world like the Acropolis in Athens; the Coliseum in Rome; and the Pyramids Egypt!

I think those of new states are beautiful. I think they built afresh. Whereas that of Edo state is still that from Bendel era.
Oyo also.

I think only few old states like Rivers, Kaduna have new looking ones.
