Maybe California only to become re-acquainted with some of my college friends and also go to a few other states. I need to plan an around the world trip soon.

lol am not surprised at all to see Jamaicans and Ghanaians there together afterall(our history an all) but ya seeing how the average Ghanaian woman is built, our men should be built too to handle that lol

I'm going to go East first, and visit the East African lands, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Kenya, and even Somalia (I know that you are from Djibouti) then go further east, visit Turkey, Oman, UAE, Russia, China and possibly Japan, then from there Philippines, and then make my way to the U.S. territory of Guam. From Guam I will venture into North America starting in Canada and Alaska (which I know is part of the U.S.) before making my way further south into United States and Mexico. It will be expensive (thus the reason I'm working a lot to afford such a trip and the time I will invest in such a trip). Best to do it now whilst I'm still young than when I will barely be able to stand many years from now.

Wowzers, I'm pleasantly surprised. The entire Horn, and then all those other countries to boot. All in one go? That's an impressive trip, but well-rounded. I wish you success, satisfaction, and adventure (of the good kind).

I wish I could do something so extensive like that. I'm still shocked, lol. If you have to pick between China, or Japan during your travels. Def go for Japan

You could do something like that once you establish yourself at a place of work and then accumulate vacation time and the right amount of money to go on that vacation.

Just out of curiosity why choose Japan over China?

Only because it can second-hand vouch for it. I know people who've been, including my BF. It's more tourist friendly. But are you more interested in the tourism aspect, or more of a historic/ethnic/cultural enthusiast? I could probably guess this, tho

I'm more of a historical, ethnic and cultural enthusiast. Everyone says that Japan is more technologically advanced, but it's really hard to say nowadays that China is easily one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world.

I must be biased, 'cuz it's Japan all the way! I feel as if Japan would be more-welcoming, but if you want to see more raw culture & history...well, it could be a bit interesting to see China now that I think of it. The Great Wall maybe. The Forbidden City/Palace.

Bro, I can still come and visit you in a few years. Few years is plenty of time to generate some savings again to travel lol. I'm going to use the vacation as a means of learning countries infrastructure and how they operate (though it's not enough time to fully learn), just a ways to improve Nigeria.

I think they are both great countries honestly speaking. China of course being a much larger country. I think China is a very interesting country and I need to prepare myself and get coats/jackets to keep myself warm. Nigeria's weather really spoils someone.
