Okay, I have heard a lot of people say things like, if he is dark, he would be ugly, like the thread comparing nadia buari and genivieve nnaji, and the one comparing jim iyke and majid.... So here are my questions, does being light in complexion make you beautiful/handsome ? And does being dark in complexion make you ugly? |

it dpends.. But being dark doesnt easily make one noticeable.. But being light makes one easily noticeable. Nt all Fair peepz are handz/beaut. Nt all dark peepz are nt hands/nt beaut. 2 Likes |

Being dark doesn't make you ugly. Personally, some women would never date fair guys. I've tried to know the reason on several occasions, but they just won't say. Skin colour do not influence beauty. 1 Like |

The answer to the questions are No and No respectively. I've seen ugly people of lighter skin tone and I've also seen good looking people of darker skin tone. |

This complexion thing don tire me. There was this particular girl on Nairaland yesterday that was arguing with me and justifying the reason why girls bleach. I guess she is bleaching herself. She said she knows what she goes through from guys, as they reject her had go for yellow/fair skinned girls instead. I just wonder if it is the same Nigeria we stay. I have dozens of friends that don't have any complexion preference...they would date a dark girl, just as they would date a light skinned girl. Me, personally, I have always preferred dark/brown skinned girls, so I just don't understand what all the fuss is about going WHITE. |
