Now this is what I call campaign. Bringing out the transformation of GEJ's government to the fore and not the mudslinging and tantrums being thrown around by the okupes, fayemis and the pant sniffer.

Well based on this, let those who enjoy Nigerian airport facilities vote for GEJ according to their experiences.

I won't expect deluded ones who only ride in Okada, danfos and molues to be shouting transformation.

Thank you. This is one of the brains we have here on NL not @Lobolintin, whose sense of wisdom has been accidented. LOL!!!

Asaba and Dutse airports were built by their respective state government.
Because of the security implication of Airports,no state built an Airport without Federal Government input,NAMA,NCCA,FAAN,NAF,AIB, ETC.
It must also be noted that ONLY pdp controlled state built airports ...Theses are the ones in Dutse,Uyo,Asaba, etc

Thanks oh. At what cost? GEJ emptied the treasury for this? Where are the jobs?

Yours is a case of MISPLACED aggression.
Read the news below, be informed and direct your whining and complaints to the 36 state governors and 774 LGAs under their tight control, okay

FG, States, LGs Share N568.4 Billion for Oct
15 NOVEMBER 2013

Also, $1billion was proposed for distribution to complement shortfall in expected revenue." The $1billion is a compromise by the FG over its words in September not to augment shortfalls anymore.

Responding to the presentation, the chairman of the States Commissioners of Finance and Ebonyi State Commissioner of Finance, Mr Timothy Odaah, lamented that the statutory allocation was getting smaller and smaller. "It appears this is the worst in terms of returns. This is the least in allocations as far as this year is concerned. We are mourning the dearth of funds and this is a wakeup call for states and local governments to buoy up their internally generated revenue."

While appreciating the "magnanimity" of President Goodluck Jonathan to approve the $1billion from the excess crude account and to be shared among the federal, state and local governments, Odaah expressed disappointment with the returns made by the NNPC.

He said that the states had requested for $2bn to complement for the shortfall in revenue but got only $1billion. In September, Odaah and fellow commissioners had walked out of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF) when the federal government said that the framework of the 2013 budget was no longer realistic and it won't augment shortfall in revenue. Odaah raised issues with the statutory allocations of previous months.

Can you imagine if the state governments did half as much as what the Jonathan/Sambo federal administration has done in the last five years on their own constitutional responsibilities:

- primary, vocational, technical & secondary schools classrooms, libraries, laboratories, even toilets and annual, regular RECRUITMENT of teachers, school administrators, gardeners, janitors etc.
- primary health clinics and general hospitals wards, beds, laboratories and annual, regular RECRUITMENT of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, lab. technicians, physiotherapists, hospital administrators etc.
- FEEDER roads in front of houses and business premises, rehabilitated, expanded, maintained and drains/gutters cleared regularly as well as bushes.

Let us start behaving like REASONABLE people and stop focusing only on the federal executive administration while others steal us blind with glee.

Let the poster show pictures of the dirty tarpulin tent that is the Port Harcourt airport arrival hall. Let him show pictures of the dirty international arrival area and filthy flooded toilets of MMA. With only one or two creaky luggage carousel working and stopping, taking 1 to 2 hours to retreive your luggage.

If we must accept this as transformation, then we are down for.

Most Nigerians don't use the Airport and so do not know what is going on. GEJ must be given a big applause for this Transformation across all our Airports..Critics have been jumping from one Airport to another campaigning, yet they have not acknowledge these Transformation..
GEJ IS MOVING AND WORKING!!!

Im quite positive we didnt employ this man and give him unfettered access to hundreds of billions of dollars in 6 years only for them to gloat about a few coats of paint and new furniture in airports, a few refurbished trains no one outside the country uses, and call it "transformation".

Transformation is what happened in UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, China, India. Transformation is revolutionary approaches to commerce and economic growth, innovations and discoveries in technology and application of same to enhance growth, development and overhaul of education, bio technology advances, modern farming and manufacturing techniques, mining etc.

Remodelling or repainting airports, buying extinct trains, and allocating one bag of fertilizer per farmer is certainly bronze age transformation, not the digital age one.

At the end of tje day, with all the much ballyhooed transformation, electricity is still epileptic and worsening, transportation is still chaotic, food especially rice is still expensive, farming methods are still archaic, education ia still is shambles, health care systems are still in tatters, refineries are still moribund, administrative and archival systems are still stone age, our society, cultures, arts and technology are ancient.

So what exactly has been transformed beyond the bank accounts of a few political and corporate fat cats?

We must not tire to spread the gospel of liberation for our people from the shackles of Mental Slavery to which some have bound themselves voluntarily.

We must find ways of holding the 36 states and 774 LGAs accountable as well.

It can be well with us, surely.

Jonathan has really worked? The problem with our people is not that the president is not doing well, but if anything good should happen in Nigeria, it must be from them. They cannot just believe that someone can do such things in Nigeria, and whoever is in charge must be stopped. They stopped at nothing to make sure that Oduah is removed to halt the progress in that sector, not knowing that the government in power is more tactical, more intelligent than they seem to be.

Jonathan till 2019.

Please shut up and let us see change, and don't be bring mid construction photoshopped images here, every one of us who temples know this is nonsense!!!
Elections are barely three weeks away and stunts like this only annoy is more!!! GEJ didn't work when he had the chance now every new repainted only building is being held up to our eyes as proof of transformation? It's sickening!!!!
GEJ will loose woefully at the coming polls, no matter how any postponements of propaganda he tried to spin.
He had his chance now he can return to the university and spread his so called transformation while living off his ill gotten wealth which he stole, because stealing isn't corruption?!! Right?
