As for Jonathan, he has been President and Governor in the last 14years! So, we know him inside out, we know what he HAS DONE and can therefore predict what he can do, going forwards.

As for Buhari, we had a glimpse of what he can do in his short stint as Military Head of State.
Though Democracy is different and he cant act like a soldier, but we can still deduce a bit of what his personality looks like.

Now, the Choice we all have to make is this:
1.) To continue with Jonathan .... taking into consideration of his "good sides" (like smiling, freedom of expression, e.t.c) and all his bad sides (like endemic corruption, Bribery of everyone in sight, ineptness, failure of policies, being surrounded my the most corrupt individuals Nigeria has ever produced, failed policies and failed currency with the Niara trading at #215 => $1, deceitfulness, failed infrastructures like Roads, NEPA, e.t.c, a crude, revolting and uncontrollable wife who embarasses the whole Nation, ....


2.) To make a CHANGE and Vote-in Buhari ...... taking into consideration all his good sides (Passion for the country, Uprightness, Credibility, Zero Tolerance for corruption, Economics of development, respect for others, Tolerance for other views, respected by the international community, e.t.c ) and his bad sides (Promise to jail corrupt Politicians and contractors if they dont turn a new leaf, headstrong, military background and their tendency to be dictatorial, age, e.t.c).

If you are HAPPY with the current state of Nigeria and you are living fine and want your children to continue this way, your best bet is to vote Jonathan!

But if you are fed-up with the current decay, corruption, failed infrastructure, depreciating Naira, bribery in Dollars, looting and lack of vision and focus.... then you MUST vote Buhari, to bring CHANGE to the country.

That CHOICE IS SIMPLY ENOUGH FOR ME!

I will Vote for a change from the current status-quo..... I WILL VOTE BUHARI.

As for being surrounded by thieves like Tinubu, l believe Buahri needs 'their stolen money" to get into Power otherwise Nigeria will have no choice other than PDP and Jonathan. Most politicians from the south, bagged upto 200 years. Top northern politicians and officials, who were the biggest culprits, miraculously disappeared. Talk of fairness.

Buhari gagged the press, proscribed every form of unionism and activism. Journalists and activists were all jailed indiscriminately. What was Awos offence? Young nigerians were murdered for offences that did not carry death penalties by this same humane General.

As PTF chairman, can anyone point to the projects Buhari carried out in the whole of the south and compare with what he did in the north?

He en­quired why the crowd gathered and why the man was weeping; the man informed him of how the soldiers had beaten him up and confiscated his car.

The slim officer was a captain with his name-tag Buhari. The officer reminded the people that the war had ended and such thing should not happen. He quickly ordered for the release of the car and also reprimanded the soldiers and as a result, our community enjoyed the usual freedom.

When he became the Head of State, I discovered from his facial appearance that it was the same Buhari that showed human con­cern to our brother.

But since Buhari indicated in­terest in ruling the country once again, I have read many commen­taries on the pages of newspapers and electronic media that are very uncomplimentary about his life and I wonder whether it is the same Buhari I met in 1970 who was full of passion for people.

However, from my encounter with GMB then, I came to the conclusion that he is not only hu­mane, but a stickler for justice as demonstrated by his insistence that my brother’s car is returned immediately and which the sol­diers did. That he ordered that the car be returned and the soldiers involved in such act be detained for stepping beyond their bounds depicted Buhari as a compassion­ate man and a disciplinarian who abhors maltreating innocent civil­ians. After all, Buhari could have joined forces with his men to con­fiscate the car, but he did not be­cause he believed that the war had ended and people should be set free form bondage and discrimi­nation. But he said “mbanau ooo!”

Of course, the lessons learnt from the above are: that a leader must stand for justice at all times; that a leader must take a decision when necessary; that a leader must instil discipline in his lieu­tenants; that not all Northern sol­diers were wicked after the war and that GMB is misrepresented by many Nigerians who see him as evil and tribalistic.

Indeed, from the lessons, one can deduce that GMB is far bet­ter than our South-South brothers who confiscated our property im­mediately after the war and nick­named it ‘abondoned property’ particularly in Rivers and Bayel­sa. - Why was there funds misappropriation in the tune of $2.8billion during his time as Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources.? This case was investigated by the inept tribunal set up by Shehu Shagari during his regime and found him not guilty of which there was still lapses in the NNPC account. If he was not guilty as the verdict said, there shouldn't have been lapses in the NNPC account.

- Buhari was very biased during his rule and was always quick to jail Southerners. Why did he jail mainly Sountherners? Why did he jail mainly Yorubas, Igbos and other Sountherners whether guilty or not? I will leave you with this to go through:

We do not need the kind of leadership Buhari brought in the past that violated human rights and saw many well meaning bodies scuttled with the press completely anihiliated. Even with the anihiliation of the press, we still have large chunk of human right abuses recorded during his time, now imagine if the press was given a free hand like that of GEJ administration, you would have seen greater evil perpetrated by Buhari. Same occurred during the retrenchement by Buhari even though his period was in the oil boom. However, we know there is massive economic crisis not only in Nigeria but the world over due to fall in world oil price in this era.

Refineries are still moribund

GEJ has created an enabling environment for investors to come invest in and build refineries in Nigeria. The government must not do everything. Checkout the US, private sector businesses drives their economy and you people still want GEJ to tied down public funds in refineries construction.

I wouldn't address the remaining as all has been addressed above and also happened, hundred folds in some cases, during Buhari's government. Unions were banned, we also had poor health facilities, Shehu Shagari and Gwando were pardoned since they were Fulani, government facilities were dilapitated during GMB's rule too however, GEJ built schools, how many did GMB build?

If you believe nigeria does not deserve change in whatever guise after 16 years of PDP with the above facts, then god help you.
