The way people use the word "Lady" on Nairaland ehn! I don't understand o!
Guys now tend to abuse the word and I think it's unfair to English Language.

Before you conclude on this rhetoric question. Do a quick dictionary check onn what the word "Lady" means.
www.thefreedictionary.com/lady

It says someone of impeccable character.
It also mentions high social standing.

Now these is where I differ on most Nairaland females. Before you call yourself a lady or someone calls you that. Do a quick check. Ask yourself. Am I worth this kind of respect? Cuz to me most of 'em females around here can be plain b*tchy. Now that's the opposite of the word "Lady".

So guys...Biko! Stop abusing that word. it means a lot.

This post is dedicated to Dechandel my sweat heart.

Selective reading much? Your wittle dictionary also says "lady" is a polite way of addressing a woman amongst other things. It's not confined only to nobility or manners.

Being polite sounds like good manners to me. How do you act politely to a female who acts all B*tchy? Huh!

Btw, what's your issue with who is being called a lady & whether they deserve it or not? Would they rather call YOU LADY Chipmunkey? Too much ado about nothing.

Two things are involved here. Either girls stop acting b*tchy or guys stop misusing the word.
