Op, you are very wrong!!

You just went and compiled list of popular and long existing companies with the wrong belief that they all pay or reward their staff very well, very wrong of you.

Now, let me correct you.

Remove PZ Cussons Plc because PZ has one of the poorest staff salary/reward welfare among all FMCGs, so take it off.

PZ Cussons Plc has money as a company but do not pay its staff well.

Remove Julius Berger too. Julius Berger has too much money as a company but uses slave master staff welfare system whereby the top management staff members get paid heavily but other staff get peanut pay, so remove them pls.

Most Julius Berger staff survive by engaging in corner business within the firm.

7Up Bottling Company don't pay much to make the list even though the have name.

Nest Oil doesn't pay much except you are in key position.

There are plenty unknown firms in Nigeria that pay more than these popular companies you listed here just because they have big name.

Where is Acatel? Where is Tincan, APM Terminals and other top shipping firms I can't mention here?

Where are those unpopular oil servicing and Logistics firms that pay their staff well which you don't know because they are not popular?

Anyway, it is clear that you didn't do any research but compiled list of popular firms that you know.

Na wa ooo...all these companies have a lot of workers working for them and they still employ people a lot. And these are just a fragment of the companies we have in Nigeria as I can think of plenty that are not up there. And still yet, jobs are not enough. Hmmm!
we too many now

These are companies that existed before the existence of Goodluck. If you don't know, better know now. Stop being fools and say a clueless man is working.. What a terrible thing to say. 90% of the companies listed existed before jonathan existed.. And people will comment and say he is working. How dull you are.

This list is utter rubbish!!! Jobberman don't know what they are saying!!! Federal ministries? Banks? There are some solid companies not even listed here, or which should be top 10, I know them but just don't want to name them for privacy sake.. there's an oil service company near my office in VI, I have a friend that works there, entry level (fresh graduates) earn like super stars, see as my friend changed just 3 months working there... see its not Jobberman, or ngcareers or shortlist Nigeria that gives job, just grow your network!! Meet people, develop an amiable personality be someone felt!!!!

there are like a thousand and one extra un mentioned companies here.
Oando energy service
Ciscon engineering
Exxon
the aviation industries
MPDC

there are about a million local content which re very much unknown to people.
honestly, come to the oil and gas sector and see what this govt have actually done.

they dnt give contracts to foreign companies again unless u merge with a local content and train dia staffs.

a lot of people are not employed in nigeria cos
1. lack of standard educational qualification
2. location. u would see some one wanting to work in shell and his adress is sokoto and no relation in lagos or PH, how could dey dell with such case if they employ u?
some one seeking to work with channels tv and resides in Ebonyi.

3. must people go to study the wrongest of courses in school just to be in school. where on earth will u be placed if u dnt have an oga at the top?

these and many more of my observations.

plus why firms dnt employ mostly without recommendation is the case of thiefry.

I currently work in one of these companies listed here and i must tell you that working in some structured company is like heaven.
I still pray that the Govt should see to the issues of contract staff and full staff differences sha, the gap is so large that one tends to feel pity on the contract staffs because they earn so little

Well said.

This is a "copy past" job there was little or no research carried out by the op.

Most of the companies listed have poor staff welfare packages, zero job security...etc. They have the name on the outside, but on the inside, they're not different from slave masters.

There are several companies listed there where i can pay tbeir MDs salary and still have some change. Meanwhile my company is not listed. Very interesting.

At least it removes my company from public consciousness and alllows for some level of job security.
