Hi, i am following ur thread keenly and av few questions. I am based in ibadan and would like to start a small one as study.
The land i av is beside a stream dat and floods easily is it gud for planting cucumber?
Where can i buy the seeds in ibadan?
Will i av to be watering the plants and how often?

1. Easily flooded areas or water-lodging land are not good for cucumber. Well drained sandy soil is perfectly ok.
2. For seeds, contact Agrotropic Nig Ltd. custom bus stop, agodi ibadan.
3. Cucumbers are heavy feeders. water it well." Keep it moist all through" is the rule of thumb.
Dont hesitate to ask more questions.

The best seeds I think is from agritropic.. Technisem products are really the best, just look around some threads in nairaland and search for a guy called Soloxam, he will be more than grateful to help you. You no go regret am..

Watching the young plants producing first true leaves. No pesticide applied yet. There is no incidence of insect attack. Just watering and watching for now. Have a look at more pix

There is nothing wrong in the guy giving advice based on his experience no matter how short his span is .

It is not how far but how well.

If we look at the history of many agripreneurs here on Nairaland, we find out some have been using archaic methods even as late as 2014 planting season....Some still do.

He might be a fast learner or an avid researcher.

In addition, try to absorb instead of repelling everything that slights you online...how many times have Jonathan or Buhari responded to every negative tweet?

No pesticide used yet. I'm doing thorough scouting. checking for insects. None was found. No visible effect recorded so far. That is no insect attack recorded. No fertilizer applied.
