Hello everyone in the house. I want to ask the house, how long it takes to get a Canadian spouse open work visa from Nigeria ? I applied for my wife around January 9, 2015. She was called for her medicals on feb 23, and she completed the exercise at CP. Her status has since changed to PASSED on her CIC account, but its more than a month now, and her passport hasn't been requested for. Can anyone advise as to what is going on, or how I can get a lead ? |

Fellow NLs, how come nobody seems to proffer answers to my questions? I am currently completing an online application and i noticed that the upload documents session could not take all my docs. Are they going to request for the rest documents later or what? I only listed the docs on the additional documents column......Please i need your responses ASAP. Thank you |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by diamondsare4eva: 11:11pm On Apr 04, 2015 |
Moheat:use smallpdf.com to squeeze in the documents. If it's too much it won't upload, it will mean you reduce the documents and upload the most important. They will not request additional information once application is submitted 1 Like |

kol1234:Seems you don't have much problem on tuition fees, your focus should now be living expenses, for that cic itself recommends 10000 cad. So your soa must cover that. My own tip. 1 Like |

Happy Easter everyone! I will submit my application for TRV soon. I have a Ph.D offer into UNB starting 1st September. Please I wish to find out if the following documents will be adequate: 1. Bachelor and Master certificate and transcripts. 2. NYSC discharge certificate 3. WAEC certificate 4. Birth certificate 5. SOP 6. Four months SOA for 4.4m 7. Scholarship award letter from State government 8. Letter of acceptance with scholarship worth international differential fee (CAD 4212) 9. Travel history- (UK student visa in 2011 and Visa to Ireland in 2012) 10. *Letter of introduction. *I work in a uni as a lecturer. As at last Wednesday, I was told the Registrar is unable to write a letter of introduction for me because my file had not returned from VC's Office. Will it be okay if I get a letter of introduction from my Dean of Faculty? Thank you all! |

Yes, i have called up the secretary a coulple of times. She still asks me to be patient, promising ill be notified shortly. As for supervisor, i was able to get a supervisor who asked me to reference him in my application. Or what could this reaponse mean? 'Thank you very much. You may reference you application to work with me in your programme'. That was the reply i got from the supervisor i mailed. deedee0: |

As a lecturer, are you signing a bond agreement saying you will come back after your PhD studies, you might need to include the bond agreement doc to help with home-ties. JohnDuke259: |
