as if when the violence comes you can wait! pls stop this calumny of hate and let's move on to better things joor!

Violence is bad but it puts paid to good rubbish on some occasions.

Your elders dare not insult the Northerners due to what you have suffered there.

Our hospitality and civility is the bane.

Try nonsense and pay for it darely

It takes two to tango.

Oba Akinolu may not be right on this but the attitude of our Igbo brothers and sisters could frustrate one.

Having helped them more than what their region has done for them, instead of being grateful; their actions seem to be undermining the essence of our existence through their incendiary statements. Calling their hosts cowards- what do you want after that-fight to show we are not cowards.

Oba Akinolu is their match and that is why the situation seems difficult now.

A gentle king could be disobeyed easily but did they say anything at the palace? No. They dare not.

It was after leaving the palace that chest beating, ultimatum , etc started surfacing.

Who then is the cowards? Ta lo fe gbenan woju ekun lai f'eje we ( who wants to put light at the face of a tiger without being bathed with blood)

Remember, 'He who makes peaceful resolution difficult , has made violence inevitable.'

Very rubbish response. Expel the Igbos out of Lagos, you can't cos you don't want to, but continue to talk about their nature, you or Igbos themselves cannot change. As show down looms, separation will be the ultimate outcome. Forget it, Igbos can never change or whatever that means.

How do you control Lagos?

This is part of your problems.

Your elders did not train you how to talk in a strange land.
Is it through road side selling at Ojota and Oshodi? For every one thing you do in Lagos, our people do two.

You have to learn a lot and I pray this wont be the last chance.

Jonathan was warned last year by Obasanjo but he did not listen.

You have embarked on such journey too.

Have followed ur comments and am so surprise at some of ur post, U most really be a very tribalistic person, It's on record that the Yoruba has contributed nothing to the development of this country, So if Nigeria cease to exist today, I tell you, most of the Yoruba people will die of hunger, Laziness runs in a typical Yoruba person DNA....So just be mindful of some comments you make here, It's not about claiming Lagos, Go and ask those who occupy state government offices, ask them how much in Taxes Igbo pays to the govt just to develop dis so-called lagos, Am sure you will be amazed....Check the rest of the south-west region and compare d development in lagos to does states, you will understand where i stand. Every yoruba person wants to claim lagos as d his state of origin, even the so-called AMBODE the oba is canvassing votes for is not from LAGOS simply because Igbo and other non-indigen have developed dis state

I expect u to comment with caution, Lagos is a cosmopolitan state so bear that in mind and use your words right instead of trying to incite violence like dis so-called OBA has jst done.

People should stop being silly, what the Oba of lagos said should not in anyway cause tribal issues. I agree that those words were too much to be said but why are some silly igbo people picking on yorubas as if it was a collective decision among the yorubas. He should be made to bear the consequences as he has said that Lagos is his own...lemme remind you that most of you are tenants in lagos so u need to be careful before you steer tribal conflicts
The King cant be bigger than the village and as far as i am concerned we are all brothers irrespective of our tribes.Vote who so ever you wish and be sure that we your yoruba brothers will definitely stretch our hands for you when you are drowning.

The visitors are fast becoming landlords and the land owners are becoming tenants. That's the drive in Igbos that u can't take away from them. I know of Ejigbo, ajao, Okeafa, isheri, okota , festac where 80 percent of the landlords are igbos.

Agbaje or Ambode makes no difference so neither will tolerate traitors. You claimed to have armed yourselves and marked choice targets, whatever that means. You will soon learn that words are sacred. Be ready. It will only come to kill and be killed and if it comes to that be assured that no single igbo man or woman, young or old would leave Lagos and SW alive. You can neither go by air nor sea and the land route is long, tortuous and unfriendly. Colateral damage would be much for sure. When the burble bursts, the constitution becomes mear paper.

Wonderful... So all of these will happen while the rest of SE goes on a long vacation? Lmao, you hear something new everyday. The distance between SE/SW isn't a 24hr trip, it sure isn't 12hrs either, it's quicker and shorter than you think. Heck Anambra to Lagos is 6-7hrs, so you think you'll go on a killing spree and the millions of Igbos in Lagos will just siddon look... I laugh at you. Ogbunigwe used in Biafra will be a joke to what will be used. This won't be a fight of Dane guns and machetes or bows and arrows, we Igbos will fund, by any means necessary, the purchase of sophisticated weaponry to decimate Lagos and anyone standing in our way.

Your Oba should be advised that you don't beat the drum of war and not expect collateral damage. The damage will be done to both sides, the greater damage will be Lagos... The economic (industrial and human) status of Lagos will sure be zeroed... In all, STOP ranting something you can't stand. We Igbos don't want any war; we advise against such but NOT afraid to stand our ground.... NO TO INTIMIDATION. Come Saturday, Igbos will vote JK, I'd like to see him win let the worst happen.

You are an e-diot. Who has ever threatened the Yorubas who have been driving taxis in PH since the 80s, even when they transferred their useless Lagos driving culture to the place? Has any traditional ruler in rivers state risen up to tell them the kind of rubbish oba akiolu was spewing from his mouth? Nonsense. Nobody has the monopoly of violence.

Your fathers are e-diots. How many times have heard, read or seen our people disobeying their hosts or insulting them?

Besides, Arthur Eze doesn't speak for a state let alone a tribe... As opposed to you Oba, a whole "OBA OF LAGOS", not even a town chief but an OBA. Secondly, his statement incited hate and violence against a whole tribe, if carefully unchecked will cause Lagos genocide... Who is deceiving who?

Stop spewing ignorance my friend...simply basic knowlwdwge of how. The world works will let you know that any region that has water cum seaport is prone to quick development, due to economic activities that take place in these areas..lagos has all the major ports of nigeria that's why its simply developed. If igbos can be united and get someone to build them a port in the east do you think lag will be this good? You probably don't know ,the answer is caiptal NO.

And guess which tribe runs the major ops in these ports? ...go and do ur home work boy.
Like you like your oba...its better to keep your mouth shut and be thought wise than open your gap and remove all doubt.

You are the ignorant one here.

.....You are both right..

Madam pls that's not true...not all seas can accomodate a sea port hence...lag, the water has to be deep like antlantic ocean hence lagos

“In the case of Director-General of State Security Service v Olisa Agbakoba (1999) 3 N.W.L.R (PT 595) 314 it was held by the Supreme Court that ‘It is not in dispute that the Constitution gives every Nigerian citizen the right to move throughout Nigeria and to reside in any part thereof. It also guarantees to the citizen the right not to be expelled from Nigeria nor be refused entry or exit therefrom.’

Was Falana in this country when Fashola deported some groups of people from Lagos for what excuse again?

My problem with this animal right lawyer and other dumb senior advocate is that they only interpret the constitution to please their party and benefactors.

Falana should STFU and stop making too much noise, we know were his loyalty lies
