Rivers people finish work for this election; they are the talk of Nigeria, reported and confirmed violence in these areas/local government - Tai, Khana, Gokana, Eleme, Etche, Akukutoru, Degema, Ikwerre, Obio Akpor, Emohua, Port Harcourt, Ogu Bolo. Journalists did not get it easy, many got the beating of their lives.

it's pathetic, really.
today is saturday, many of them have PVCs and yet they won't go out to the polling unit on their street to cast their votes. the ones who manage to drag themselves out to the units for accreditation would not return to cast their votes.

it's the orientation of our people. if they are sharing rice & tubers of yam there, they would be there as early as 6am. watch how the northerners would come out ën masse and perform their civic duties. when the results come out, the southerners would start accusing them of rigging.

I registered in my village, so how do you want me to go out and vote when am in ph and there was shooting since yesterday

My dearest Irene, Amaechi didn't handle dissent graciously! No one is saying that GEJ got it right, but there is a way to handle issues, especially bearing in mind their relationship! God forbid that I would be used as a tool to fight my kinsmen! I won't go into the nittygritty, but I can take you up on it another day! Right now, we are focusing our energies to ensure Amaechi feels the pain of defeat! One bad turn deserves another!
