philips70:I beg to partially disagree with you. You can't exonerate Amaechi and Peterside when talking about violence in Rivers since 2002. That both men are wearing suits doesn't change their antecedents. Amaechi unpopular war with PEJ really caused lots of harm. God help Rivers |

barcanista:Barcanista even if you are on the side of the PDP now I used to know you as a rational and objective person. Amaechi to an extent restricted the war to words but the pain and desperation of Wike took it to arms level. Amaechi and Mbu tried their best to maintain peace in Rivers state for years until this unhealthy rivalry started. If Wike, a man who seemingly like violence like Fayose did not come into the picture they could have handled whatever difference they had with maturity. And also know that Amaechi controls the financial muscle to arm his own thugs to rival Wike but chose another means to win his battles. Remember the blood flowing in Rivers for months are the blood of Rivers indigene also. One thing I know is this same Wike as expected will fight the same people who support him today in the nearest future. 1 Like 1 Share |
