During our tenure in the SUG when the school fees was increased from 8k to 12k under the Oshodin admin, one of the reason we succumbed to the increment was the promise to build external baths and toilets in the hostels! We blived in the admin to fulfil their promise as many promises earlier made were being fulfilled and on-going projects littered the two campuses! It's unfortunate the toilets and baths have not been built, I seriously
hope the current administrations of both the management and that of the SUG will pick the matter from where we stopped!

As for the porter! Make hall one and hall two girls protest go SA or VCO!

This is so disgusting. Survival or whatever his name is must have been so happy to be posted to female hostel from the male one and couldn't even control his urge to see nakëd women there.
The porters in uniben are only going to get bolder and do worse because nothing is being done to stop them. They used to occaisionally walk into the passage of girls hostel during unholy hours hoping to see girls bathing.

Immediately I went in there and about to loosen my belt, my backside asked me, "Guy, you dey mad?!". Immediately, I got the message. Na only piss I manage piss oh. I held my breathe until I left there oh. Then I controlled my system until I got to Ekosodin. And if the toilets/bathrooms are being taken good care of, there won't be any need for this very bad but already-normal and customary trend of "shotputting".

The truth is we should stop blaming the school authority for the disgusting habits of students. I recall when I visited Hall 4, there was this section of the hostel's toilet that was being renovated, everything there was new but it was locked as at then. I came back later to see that it had been opened but the seats and the handle for flushing the toilet have been damaged, even the tap there was bent. I told my coursemate staying there how the toilet looks now and he told me it was opened about two days before my visit.

Students need to play their role of maintaining a facility they use constantly.

I knew all dis oppressions were imminent since uniben started admitting under-aged and 'beware-of-dogs' students to reduce level of violence in d skuul..........if it were to be in my set,survival for no fit survive o.

This gist is normal with Uniben. At times their male porter's parade the female hostel as early as 5am and as late as 11pm searching to see wentin their mama take born them. Is no news to me, As far as Uniben is concern is not a news

There is a rule in the hostels tht students shldnt bath outside. So the female student obviously saw the porter and ran because she was committing an offence. The porter only ran after her cos he needed to catch her red-handed. So taking this into consideration, the female student has no ground for complaint or else she will be giving herself in for a corporate punishment by uniben security for flouting school rules.
In female hostels there are male porters who are accompanied by their female counterparts when going on their normal routine checks. Female porters alone cannot discipline those unruly female students.

We speak dear, but most times we concentrate on helping graduates from Uniben get good opportunities after NYSC.
So enjoy school and the Uniben way because you will need all those challenges later in life.

That porter must be out of his senses,but what kind of law permits a male porter to manage the affairs of a female hostel,its preposterous!!
