After showing Maureen and Leila to their rooms, Tara went downstairs in search of Jordan. She found her mother-in-law and Jordan talking. Not wanting to interrupt her she quietly sat beside her husband. Jordan unconsciously drew her to him and kissed her forehead. He looked at her face, there was no ounce of make-up.
'Jordan, are you listening to me?', his mother asked. She was used to this kind of behaviour from Jordan but she was happy that Tara changed him.
'I will talk to justine about it but I'm not promising, I see no reason why his marriage is making you sat'
'Why shouldn't I? How can he tell me he wants children?'
Jordan went on his feet. He frowned when Tara ran out of the room.
'You see what I'm saying? Look at Tara, pregnant again while Sarah want no child yet'
Jordan followed her out and returned a few minutes later with her in his arms.
'I said I can walk'
'And I said, I want to carry you up'
Alice had seen this kind of argument a thousand time and she had learn to let them deal with each other. They seem to handle themselves perfectly.
'Jordan, please talk to your brother'
'I will mum', he told her as he climb the stairs without looking at her. His mum had also seen the lustful way he looked at Tara. Well, she had gotten used to this too just as she had gotten used to her son passionately kissing his wife whenever he thought no one was looking. Tara? She knew enjoyed this. She would throw her head back and laugh.
'Well, they are young and married', She said to herself.
Back in their room, Jordan gently placed her on the king size bed.
'I need to brush my teeth', she told him
'Okay, let me take you to the bathroom'
'I have two legs, eyes and hands'
'I know Tara. I hate seeing you like this. Why in the hell did you take in again?'
'Cause I want more children'
'But I'm not complaining'
'I am. Now care to tell me what really happened to Joel?'
'You need to brush your teeth'
She went to the bathroom and brushed her teeth all the while thinking of what she had Jordan discussing with his mother. When she finally came back to the room, Jordan was just ending a call.
He removed his clothes and went to the bathroom, took a towel and wrapped it around his waist, then came back to the room.
'I wanna have a bath, care to join me?'
She smiled. 'I've bathed already'
'Won't you help wash my back?'
Tara laughed. She knew what he wanted. He was indirectly asking her if she were strong enough for love making.
'Just washing of back?'
'Maybe something more'
'Like?'
'Kiss, hug etcetra etcetra'
'I think I can do all those'
'Are you sure?'
'Absolutely' she told him and followed him to the bathroom. When they were finally able to emerged, Jordan carried her back to the bed. He laid beside her and drew her to him in such a way that her head was on his chest.
'No work today?'
'No'
'Oh mine! Jordan, I'm here un clad on this bed and I've forgotten that mother asked me to make sure Maureen and Leila have breakfast'
She sat up, Jordan did same. As she was trying to leave the bed, Jordan caught her right leg.
'Don't bother, Shan should be able to handle that. You've taught her already'
'But Jordan mother will...'
'Understand that you are feeling un well'
He kissed her lips and her ear. 'You know Tara, you worry too much'
The door opened and the two lovers scrambled to cover their selves but not before Maureen saw them. She looked angry for a few second and then turned away.
'What do you want?', Jordan asked in a cold voice.
'Your mother said to call Shan'
'Does this look like Shan's room?'
'Oh, I entered the wrong room'
'Even if this were Shan's room don't you know how to knock and wait for a reply before entering?'
'Why are you getting angry? It was a slight mistake. Joel wouldn't have gotten angry'
'Young lady, never you speak to me like this. I take my guardian issue very serious and won't hesitate to discipline you. Now get out of this room'
'Don't forget that I didn't beg to be here'
Tara decided to say something.
'Maureen all he is saying is that its wrong to enter a room that's not yours without knocking'
'What is there to see? Well madam Tara I am not a virgin nor an innocent and I know what the two of you just did'
'So?', Jordan asked her.
'Jordan, you know? I am twenty one and a very experienced woman'
A knock came and Shan entered. She apologized and was heading out when Maureen called her back.
'What is the problem?'
'Maureen, mother said to call you, your food is getting cold'
'Look at your sister. In case you don't know, my brother is dying in the hospital and she just had s.x with Jordan. Don't you think...'
'Shan what are you still doing in this room?', Jordan said calmly but Shan heard the anger in his voice. She ran out of the room. Maureen refused to leave. Jordan was un clad beneath the covers and couldn't leave the room. He pulled Tara to him and kissed her. Then murmured in her ears that she should trust him. He spoke out loud.
'You know Tara, you did so perfect. I can't imagine touching another except you'
'Really?'
'Yea. Are you strong enough for another round?'
'Yes I am'
He began kissing her. She responded and was moaning falsely. Maureen hissed.
'You too are so shameless'
She was out of the door immediately. Tara sat up. She looked at Jordan.
'I think we have a serious problem in our hands'
'Yes, damn Joel but I will teach her one lesson she won't forget'
'What?'
'You should sleep Tara. I will be going down for breakfast'
'Okay'
