now listen and listen carefully if u may; the fact that the yorubas dnt travel that much across the zoo called Nigeria will always give them the illusion oduduwa land is the most kini again eduacted or developed till statistics come calling

In 1967 u have people that volunteer to fight at the sight of unprepared war declared by evil Gowon with mostly wooden guns and machete. They weren't prepared or anything! Under that condition they have to feed, assembly some weapons, they could not go on to held their position because they ran out of ammunition and that and guess what

They held your so called Buhari army down for close to 3yrs chieeeeeeeeee

Now this is 2015 and who da hell is hausa-fulani Buahari
So it was Gowon... and not Ojukwu that declared WAR on Nigeria by "breaking-off and carving out" a portion of Nigeria for himself, like Shekau did recently?
Talk of using "a very poor excuse" to justify being whipped soundly! grin grin

You Ibos are simply too delusional to be reckoned with.
You dont ever tell yourselves the honest truth.....and that is where the difference between you and Yorubas lie.

Ojukwu was ready to secede.
He prepared and felt confident.
Even when Awolowo "advised" him to WAIT.... as usual, "Gra-Gra and baseless over-confidence" did not allow him to listen to reason.

He DECLARED and SECEDE.
The "federal Migh"t came down on him heavily and the rest is history.

Do it again and the result will be even worse because the Yorubas will "participate actively" in it from day one, this time around.

You have a choice to do it "politically" ofcourse but that is a choice for 'seasoned people'.

sambiyi:
The ex-militant leaders in Bayelsa state, weekend gave reasons why they decided to abandon their confrontational posture before the presidential election and resolved to support the incoming administration of the president-elect, Gen. Muhammad Buhari.

According to the ex-militant leaders, though they have discovered that the defeat of President Goodluck Jonathan at the poll was a conspiracy of the South-West and the North against the South-South and the South-East, the decision to stand firm and support the incoming administration is based on the premise that the Amnesty Programme, initiated under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan will not be stopped.

The ex-militant leaders, under the aegis of the “Leadership, Peace and Cultural Development Initiative” (LPCDI),led by its National president, Pastor Reuben Wilson, said that the support for the Buhari administration will be based on open policy of peace and on the sustenance of the amnesty programme.

The statement signed by Pastor Wilson, congratulated the president-elect on his victory at the poll, but begged him not to abandon the amnesty programme of the federal government. “We have called on all freedom fighters to support the incoming administration to enable it fulfill its campaign promises to Nigerians,” he said.

Wilson, who described the amnesty programme as the only panacea to peace and security in the Niger Delta region, warned that it should not be toyed with by the incoming government. He warned that there will be no peace in the region if the Presidential Amnesty Programme is neglected or abandoned.

u are talking none sense

Lord Lugard said water and oil; both can never mix

and Ojukwu at the point realised that water and oil can never mix after all the massacre at the time

then aburi accord came up which your evil Gowon agreed to but changed his mind when the british and hausa-fulain advice him not to agreed

so who is the aggressor

u think u can wake up to try to write none sense which the yoruba press has been doing ever since creating confusion among ss and se

The SS, SE & ex-militants know quite well that it would be suicidal if they dare confront the APC govt. I bet they must have consulted with some history professors to jog their memories about the past. We still remember what happened when ojukwu led the igbos to rise against our dear Nigeria. We also remember what happened to the chadians when they invaded our dear Nigeria from the northern part.

GMB led the battalion that dealt with the invaders. If we can recollect, GMB & his battalion did not only drive out the invaders, they also pursued them into chad & crushed them until they cried out to international community for help. Till tomorrow they would not even think of invading talk less of planning to do so.

So these recycled criminals called ex-militants know what to expect because GMB will not tolerate them, they will simply lose all( I mean ALL )

Never you refer to ISIS, Boko Haram, Al Shebab, Al quaeda when you are talking about the militants in the south. Entirely different specie of human beings. None of them is ready to take a bullet not to talk of suicide to advance their course. Militants are just business men advancing the course of their pockets.
d point am trying to drive is dat d military isn't d power house of a nation, but d people...cos dese so called 'bloddy civilians', if given weapons just cause more havoc dan d military... just want u to know d military r just civilians with weapons and not supermen...

These people must be suffering from memory loss, it was Yaradua that implemented the Amnesty Program and not Jonathan. They should expect Buhari, a no-nonsense man, to rather provide them with jobs and amenities rather than ca$h disbursements because I will assure you that it would never again be business as usual. Gaskiya?! Toh!

Not even all the igbos supported Biafra...Mighty states like Anambra were not in support...The whole of Nigeria was against them...including SS...But now, it a different case...And as for the military... without SS and SE military, SW and NE military men are just child's play...They lack tactics...no wonder Ojukwu finished them with the idiemugwe (hope I got that right)
Ojukwu when wear woman cloth run? Dude pls get sense. The North owns the military, go ask your dad or atleast google.

I knew back then that they were just bluffing.
Buhari never buckle to capital fools threats.
Thirdly, you don't give conditions to people like GMB.
You just have to mellow down and be loyal to the president elect or otherwise you will be mmm mmm mmm .

north ke? datz what u r made to believe..and u r just doing dat..d abokis u see with one hand and one leg were a result of their lack of tactics. they couldn't avoid d idiemugue set by ojukwu..haaaaaa.they think its who fires more bullets dat wins d fight

as for the Yoruba soldiers, they would run to olumo rock and come out after everything is over..haaaaaaaaaa

go ask d northern soldiers if d creek d militant men were staying is in d moon..d militants left the villages so d military would go there and battle with them like real men do it. they didn't go there to show their 'military prowess' no..they'll rather go to the villages and kill the old men and women there then later claim 'champion'

For everything, there must be a source of cash flow into the economy and it happens to be oil for Nigeria..it is from this point other sectors get their money to run things...entertainment I r talking about, isn't it someone dat pays them to perform? if u trace d source of money back u would discover say Na oyel money...Go study economics again bro

Dude I'm tired of this back and forth argument. Nigeria can't live on oil forever and this is the point we tell you niccurs to your face, get ready to start licking your oil. It's prices are dropping and we can't rely on it. The fact that PDP failed to think outside the box and diversify, thus giving you lots some "ego problem" doesn't mean APC must be daft too.

It has always been on ethncity. Check properly. That was what even killed GEJ's return. Take it or leave it, North remains North and so with other regions; from the days of Shagari, they've always held sway. You can kill yourself over it but they've got the population. Nobody really wants to associate with SE, not even SS.
