Now you have shown that you are a crackhead.

Ask any Rivers man, or Delta man or anywhere you want to call if he/she is IGBO!!...if they tell you 'NO' then shut up and run back to your south eastern states.

Una dey find oil!..hehehehehehehe...make do with the wells in imo!!..

Niger Deltans please see oh

We have not even joined them they are already referring to Niger Delta Land in Rivers state as Igbo Land!!!....

Lagoon is small.........Na inside creek for delta and Bayelsa and Atlantic Ocean en-route bonny island we go throw all of una put!!!...
[quote author=CHM11 post=32934291

I took my time going through your vituperations and found nothing but bitterness. I have no idea why you're bitter. It could be anything. But whatever it is, I advise you channel the bitterness into something productive.

Being bitter about Igbos will rather kill than save you. I once harbored an urhobo friend for years and I can say he wasn't like you.

Now on the issue of Biafra I tried to find and see how it really concerned or affected you but I could not make that connection. Because no matter how Biafra boundaries went it will never include the urhobo tribe. So why are you bitter?

There are Igbos outside the five south eastern states. And when the time comes for boundary demarcation these people will decide their own fate. It is none of our business wherever they choose to be. In fact, we Ndigbo don't really care about how big or small or country will eventual be. All that we desire is a country that we can proudly call our own. And that is BIAFRA.

The people of south Sudan separated and went away from the main Sudan. And shortly after they started fighting but I can tell you that they yet prefer that very south Sudan they're fighting than going back to the bigger Sudan. Having your own country is like have your own house. There's nothing compared to the freedom and progress that come with being on your own.

On the other hand too I think I could almost feel where your bitterness is coming from. It is either because you have a feeling that your urhobo tribe will always be subject to a superior tribe for eternity. And thus you would rather that we all stay together than we leaving and leaving your people at the mercy of the bigger tribes. Another reason could also be of course that you so love the Igbo tribe and would not want them to go, but rather than come openly to plead with them to stay and jettison their Biafra dream, you decided to throw vitriolic tripe at us. Or lastly you could just be one of those fellows who could not stomach the ingenuity of the Igbo man, and are simply bitter to death.

Having said that, I hope you would learn a thing or two.

As for me, I want to thank God who made me Igbo. And should there be another life I pray he make me even more Igbo. That alone has always been my source of joy and a radiating confidence.

Not 5. The greater part of SS are now ready with Biafra. The voting pattern was a clear demonstration of where nigeria is today.

When biafran are gone, I really do sympathise with the yoruba and those confused middle Belts. They will learn to cohabit with the Islamic zealots from Buhari's place.

Dude forget voting pattern, it doesn't determine jacksh*t. SS expectedly voted for their Son, the SE voted out of tribal hatred for the APC. Ngige's candidacy comes to mind.

If the pdp had fielded an igbo man, his total votes from the SS including Rivers state would have most likely been less than 200k! Stop the delusion that voting pattern showed an ss/se alliance. It didn't one bit!

Thank you my brother, for your intelligent analysis. Of all posts read here, your post comes closest to the main thing SS/SE need to do to achieve independence from Nigeria - vote of referendum, which can be granted by the United Nations. Last year, Scotland had a vote of referendum to gain independence from the UK, however only 44% voted 'yes' and '54%' voted 'no', thus securing their stay in the UK. South Sudan held a vote of referendum and left Sudan to form their country in 2011. English-speaking Cameroun had a vote of referendum in 1961 to leave Nigeria and join Cameroun and an overwhelming majority voted 'yes'.

SS/SE are mere political constructs to divide the southern people. These people share more together than they are different. The Ibibios and Ijaws are culturally more similar to the Igbos than to any other tribe in Nigeria. They've shared historical ties and relations for over 400 years only to be divided since the discovery of crude oil.

When I see certain agitation acts by Biafrans, I shake in amazement. What I see is a misplacement of priorities. The main thing Biafrans MUST do to actualize Biafra is to lobby the UN to grant a vote of refrendum to southern Nigeria to see if they want to leave Nigeria or not.

So many things are not right with the Biafran movement.

First, I don't like the name 'biafra'. The name has become almost synonymous to 'Igbo' only, making it seem like an Igbo-only affair when in actuality it is a southern Nigeria affair, excluding South West. The 'bia' in 'biafra' isn't helping matters either. I am of the opinion that a new name be adopted for this soon-to-be entity, which, being fresh to the ears and minds of the southerners, will appeal to everybody, a country name which will evoke nationalism and pride in the country and represent a country where every southerner will feel a full sense of belonging to.

Second, the current so-called map of Biafra is as inaccurate as it can be. How can you include Kwale, Aboh, and some Ika-Igbo comunities under 'Ughelli' state, a non-Igbo speaking province? If for nothing, the states of the new country should be demarcated based on grouping linguistically similar groups together, into 1 state. For example, in the Anioma area of Delta state, Anaocha and Oshimili areas should be togther in a state with capital in Asaba, Ika and Ndokwa/Ukwuani another state of theirs with capital at Agbor, the 2 communities obviously sharing closer historical ties than they do with the Anaochas/Oshimils. The capital of this new country should not be in Enugu but be centred in the centre of the country, being carved out from Anambra, Delta, Rivers and Imo, extending over the River Niger. Country capitals should have direct access to a water body, thus a location centred around the River Niger flowing southwards towards Bayelsa is ideal. It will be built from scratch, to allow for proper city planning. Country capitals are sited in the middle of a country, to prevent ease of attack my invaders in times of war. The main reason the capital of Nigeria was moved from extreme-end Lagos state to central Abuja.

This country will never be an Igbo affair but one of Igbo, Ibibio and Ijaw collective affairs. All 3 languages will be official languages of the country, alongside English, owing to its international status. Other languages will remain state official languages in their respective states.

With the country capital spanning from anambra, delta, rivers, bayelsa and imo, it will be ensured that this land area is ethnically represented, with each region contributing their fair share, and the capital will be a proper state developed with proper city planning, becoming a Dubai in just 20 years. The financial and human resources are there to ensure this. Dubai was transformed from a desert to one of the best cities in the world today, under 30 years. With the will power, dedication and financial resources, we CAN transform our country capital from bare land to one of reckoning, and our country to among the top 20 in the world. A country that non-citizens all over the world would queue 24 hours a day at our embassies abroad just to obtain a mere visitors visa to sight-see for just 1 week.

Proper drainage, train systems, bridges, road networks, power systems, postal systems, shall be built.

Laws shall be enforced, and the judicial system shall be reckoned to be highly incorruptible, and the citizens will trust in their judiciary system to deliver justice to them. Proper prisons with better living conditions will be built, and the country's citizens languishing in jails worldwide under inhumane conditions will be expatriated back home to serve their sentences under better human conditions. The human life is sacred.

Every citizen shall be assigned an identification number, which will be used to keep track of the citizens and provide services to the citizens.

The academic system will be totally revamped to include more meaningful and realistic programs. Efforts shall be made to upgrade current universities to world-class status, and a few new ones will be built. In some ways, emphasis will be placed on new courses such as programming, black history, science and innovation. One cannot overemphasize the importance of programming in today's ever-changing world. Programming skills shall be encouraged and our programmers shall be taken care of, to innovate and innovate. Our people shall lead in science and innovation. The ancient egyptians were able to do this, so CAN we equally do this. Black history and proper education of the citizens in its past history shall be paramount, thus the new-born ones will grow up equipped with their history, thus inducing black pride in all and sundry. Believing in yourself shall be the watchword.

Our power systems shall be unique and superb with constant electricity all year long. The Oji river power station shall be revived, natural gas dams erected in the Niger delta region, and Hydro dams erected along the river Niger. The country will generate more than twice the energy that it needs, such that it is able to sell electricity to neighbouring countries, including Nigeria. Business is business. International trade must be balanced.

The economy will be diversified, and not one built on oil only. There will be equal rights for all, and bills put in place to ensure that every ethnic group is well-represented in the affairs of the country. The pounds currency can remain in place. I would rather our currency be given a native name, comiing from one of the country's languages such as Urhobo or Isoko. The current biafran blue-coloured passport is equally ok to remain.

Honestly, I don't mind spearheading the actualization of this new country, and setting down the basic foundations of this country, upon which it would be built on, aiming to be the strongest black nation on earth in just less than 30 years. Believe me, with the brain and willful resources of southerners, we can achieve this.

The Jews were able to transform from a wandering and scattered people all over the earth to actualize a country of their own, which has surpassed its arabic neighbours in human living index in the middle east. If Israel could do this, we can do this.

I have a dream. Our people shall be free. We shall have a country of ours. Our people shall be great.

for your information, federal schools don't teach rubbish b'cos is a unity school ....and then when education had value you must pass one language from the three major languages taught in school (Igbo, Hausa and yoruba) unless your SSCE result won't be released.....from My observation you must hv gone to one of those local champion schools In lagos (that's if u hv a secondary school education) cos I know westerners are educated and they know their history well, even an ordinary cab-driver in Abuja (with just a little knowledge) knows this as the historyof the igbos just like i know the history of the yorubas from oduduwa and his seven sons....I wonder what they teach in schools these dayS or are you just comfortable being a novice?

The most persecuted and hated people on planet earth yet we keep growing stronger and stronger. It's high time other ethnic tribes in Nigeria asked themselves why the igbos keep growing strong despite the marginalization, hatred, political and economic sabotage; no other ethnic group will pass through what the igbos went through and still exist. Your hatred will not stop of from succeeding, instead it will continue to act as manure for our growth. Long live Biafra; we are the chosen people of God. The salt of the earth. You're very wrong! Put that your Fulani Cattle under APC Vs Ngige under PDP for presidency, SS will vote Ngige (PDP).

Take not that Ngige must run under PDP to be accepted. We so no accept APC, the children of hate. APC is the only party in the whole world that is angry in defeat and in victory. Check
.. . Even the last time I spoke with Buhari on phone, he was still angry. Rubbish.

The purported division and lack of love between SS and SE only exist in the figment of your imagination. Naturally, we are more elightend to the north so uou should expect that in discussing on certain issues, there could be argument. But you don't find us going out to kill anyone because he is SS or SE. Nope!

Is stupidity, foolishness, and against all known logic for anyone to think that the SS will prefer to stay with Malam (Islamic zealots) and Yorubas (chronic betrayers) than stay with the igbos ( very industrious people).

Igbos dont really care so much about Kingship and whoever becomes president or dominantly president over the years won't be a case. Also take note that the IGBOS in SS are the single bigger tribe or Majority in the SS. All others are fragments of Minorities. So the igbos in SS will determine.

Also put it in your brain that Nigeria has decided to treat us like we are in a strange country and now we want our won. Let it be bad, but is our own. Just like you can stand to defend nigeria against south Africa. .....think of it.

You gang raped our son, Goodluck Jonathan and come here to say we want to stay with you? Are you mad?

Honestly, tell me which tribe in Nigeria has settled better in all part of the country whether hostile or friendly. I don't intend bragging but it is the simple truth. For you to thrive in anything, you must outcompete others and nobody is stopping anybody from being better at any in the south eastern part of Nigeria

So having numbers of Yorubas or Hausas in Enugu with small or big shops; selling household items, electrical appliances and all sorts means that those Yorubas and Hausas in Enugu are better economically than the Igbos and the rest.

Let me give you a clue as to know who controls Nigeria economy, Hausas and Yorubas are the ones controlling Nigeria economy.

Business- 75% of multi billions companies in Nigeria as at today are owned by Hausas and Yorubas while business men within Niger-Delta controls about 20%. That is why it's hard to see an Igbo man on Forbes.

Pakis and Indians in London are like Igbos; They have stores everywhere all over London and UK at large but it doesn't mean that they are better economically than the English people, Scottish people or black people around. It shows that the Pakis and Indians are thriving successfully in that line while the rest have their own thriving lines too.

Hausas have all the Sabo Markets in the West, South and East but you ll hardly see them beating their chest over nothing even when it's obvious that they are doing pretty well than the rest.

Yorubas are in UK, US, Ireland, Canada and Australia in millions. 20% of these Yorubas are the only Nigerians doing business in these aforementioned countries. You ll hardly see Igbos in business in these countries.

50% of these yorubas are professionally employed or engaged as consultants while the remaining 30% are into menial jobs.

Finally, let me give you a clue as to which region is doing pretty well in terms of business, social infrastructures, Youth employment, education and governance in Nigeria today, the truth is south west; Yorubas. Yorubas hardly migrate to South east or North to seek for better lives cos they don't see any future prospect in doing so and that is why they usually go to where they think is better than where they are coming from which is South West. Yorubas are like US/UK citizens, you ll hardly see US/UK citizens migrating to India at the numbers of Indians migrating to US. This attitude mean that UK/US citizens knows that their economy is better than the rest.........

About 90% of all Igbos,if given a referendum, will vote to leave Nigeria and have Biafra and that is why there is no such thing as 'one Nigeria'. The 10 percent of Igbos who would vote against independence include those Igbos who are sceptical about the future or Biafra as well as the Igbos who where born or raised outside Igboland who have since been "yorubanised" or "Hausanised". There is a growing generation of Igbos born and raised in Lagos who have lost almost all links with their ancestral homeland, that type of Igbo can't understand Biafra. To the person who said that there are no Igbos in Delta state,as laughable as this is,I want you to know that the state capital of Asaba is an Igbo city. An Asaba man can kill anyone who dares question his Igbo identity. The parts of Delta-Igbo that deny being Igbo only do so for the same reason parts of Rivers-Igbo like Ikwere do the same, the politics of Oil. Everyone wants to be in the South-South oil region and I don't blame them. But no one can have Igbo names, speak the Igbo language as an ancestral language and then turn around to claim another identity. But it's a free world.

BIAFRA REPRESENTS THE RIGHT OF PEOPLE SUCH AS IGBOS TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES IF THEY WANT TO BE NIGERIAN OR NOT!!! WE DO NOT NEED LORD LUGARD TO COME FROM BRITAIN AND FORCE US TOGETHER LIKE ANIMALS IN A ZOO. 'NIGERIAN' IS AN IDENTITY THE WHITE MAN FOISTED ON US AND THAT FRAUD CANNOT CONTINUE FOREVER!!!!

To the people of SS,the stark choice remains that you people can either join the SE to agitate to leave Nigeria (we can always live side by side as the Republics of Biafra and the Niger-Delta if we do not agree) or stay in Nigeria and watch the Yoruba/Northern alliance drain your Oil and Gas wealth. Only a f00l stands by and watches as his wealth is been stolen on a daily basis and he is jumping up and clapping "one Nigeria". Biafra must be actualised because there is nothing like "One Nigeria".

I am from Ahoada East local Govt area of Rivers state..Odiemerenyi is my village to be precise. The cheap Nigerian gimmicks our father's fell for will not work this time!!
I will only believe in a Nigerian project only in the absence of a arbitrary government. Shalom!!!

An Ekpeye guy. Are there still pro Igbo groups in Ekpeye, cos the Ekpeyes that I had encountered in NL in years gone by, were so Igbophobic that it forced me into thinking things over.

I agree that Hausa's have the wealthiest elite in Nigeria but they also have the poorest people in Nigeria. Most Igbos may not be super rich but they are mainly confortable with their live. Sweden don't have too many rich persons but their wealth is more evenly distributed and they are always rated above USA who have the highest number of rich individuals. I never said any tribe was not doing well but you know that in Nigeria the Igbos are successive in settling and living good in every region in the world where they migrate to. I never intend belitlling any tribe and i respect everybody and my lovely girlfriend is Yoruba, a wonderful person. I myself was born and bred in lagos and i know that every tribe is special in its own way but i also have the right to propagate my tribe so as you.
