As i was listining to the collection of ma reggae songs, i came across this track "WOMEN" by lucky dube.
Shocked by the lyrics, i realised that its one of those songs our ladies wont like to listen to, especially the bolded part.
Below is the lyrics:

But guys claiming they can't do this thinks they are the real guy,but its a no for me,they are not...

You may not wash a lady's cloth,don't care about that but you can join her in cooking,stay with her when she's washing and make her laugh,it spice up the relationship,make it fun and healthy..

But no,they think spending money on girls is the only way to make girls love them or make them real guys.. it's a no for me,simply don't care about money cos am gonna make mine..

Stupid mentality
How does doing something nice for a woman make u any less than a man?

We are not trying to be men, we are only trying to have independence and have a mind of our own.
It takes a real man not to feel threatened by that

you mean Lucky dube? Dube, during his life time isn't a smoker neither does he takes alcohol...

To ma question, i see you can't listen to this song because its lyrics are somewhat harsh on you..lol

Don't read the wrong meaning into the song..

What the African Reggae King is singing against is women trying to transfer their natural responsibilities to men.

A man can choose to cook or wash for his wife on special occassions, such as when she's in labour or heavily pregnant..
