Tell her if she aborts your child that means the end of your relationship with her cos five years is a long time to know if you want to start a family with a guy and if after the condition she still aborts it goes to show ur wants out of the relationship differs.

I am definitely ending the relationship if she aborts the child. I feel she's been pressurised though, because the parents (esp. the dad) don't like me. She's an Hausa Muslim while I am a Christian from Kogi state.

Why would you have unprotected sex with someone that is not your wife and then come on this thread crying about the girl aborting your deposits

The bottom line is that she is the one who is going to make the decision of keeping the pregnancy or not. Your only recourse is to break up with her. Don't sweat about it. You will be surprised how many abortions are being performed daily. My office in downtown Chicago is just 2 buildings from a planned parenthood abortion clinic and the place is just like a typical African market with ladies lining up for abortion all week long. All you can do is talk to her and leave the rest alone. No reason to get your BP up over something that is beyond your control.

Personally I do not support that people get married just because a child is involved.

We had dated for 5yrs..you didn't hasten marriage, but immediately a child is involved, you want us to get married. So are you marrying me because I am pregnant. Let's give it a year or 2 after baby time to be sure you reallu want to marry me.

Thereafter some men will start ranting "I saved you from shame, the bla the bla". Some women don't want that drama.

This doesn't mean I support her abortion decision either. But OP if she insists, let her have her way.
