Excuzeme:

There is a CLEAR DIFFERENCE between \reports based on figures/data you SOURCED DIRECTLY from "receipts and invoices"..... and one based on figures SUPPLIED TO YOU by the same people (NNPC looters) you are trying to Audit.

That $1.48Billion is what they could make out from the "VERBALLY supplied" NNPC figures.
In actual fact, they only agreed to that because they were very, very sure that Jonathan will win a second term and as such, they would not even need to refund a penny of that amount.

Now imagine, if an "actual forensic audit" is carried out on "real data" based on receipts and invoices of the NNPC?

Mehn, that NNPC reeks and stinks to high heavens.

I hope that Kleptomaniac with frog eyes called Deziani Allison-Madueke will come back home to come and "assist" the 'Real Audit' .....
.... under a President who actually thinks "Stealing IS Corruption"

cry cry cry

Mohammed Sanusi was in charge during the period under review January 2012 to July 2013. However when the auditing was done Ex-Managing Director of Zenith Bank Godwin Emifiele was in Charge of CBN,it was him that refused to co-operate with PWC

No wonder why Godwin was suggesting selling 25% of NNPC's stake in JVs, it's always a trojan horse/vested interest with these people.

Nobody is talking about CBN not opening its doors for audit. That was because the whistle blower is himself covered in poo. He is the CRIMINAL emir of kano. But I'm sure buhari would never probe him guess you know why. Nigerians please seek for the truth no matter your political affiliation cos that's the only way we can be set free. To much bias flying around.

Who was in charge of CBN while this report was carried out? Sanusi or Emefiele?

And ultimately why did GEJ as president not sanction the agencies that refused to open up their books for the audits?

O boy i thought you were thought verbal reasoning when you were in primary school. That should be enough tool to inter-print this. More so, as for me, i dont speak good English and I don't want to. however, if you don't have the logic to understand that little how can you understand the whole body of terms. No wonder you support people like sanusi. I have seen that you don't have what it takes to reason like humans so I am not going to engage you in constructive and objective argument.

I don't know if y'all saw this before proceeding to the report proper, but this caught my attention:

Abeg those in the know about auditing and accounting jargons should kindly help explain the import of the highlighted part of the above image.

Caveat? Disclaimer? Or their way of saying "we have no idea what we are doing, therefore, this is an effort in futility?"

Looks to me like PwC already discredited their own report before even actually penning it.

I'm not an auditor, but the links below should help, if you can read through both:

- Auditing attestation standards: http://pcaobus.org/Standards/Attestation/Pages/ATIntro.aspx

- Ethics for confirmation process in auditing: http://pcaobus.org/Standards/Auditing/Pages/AU330.aspx

I think they did their job perfectly. However, since they weren't privy to auditing third parties (NNPC and CBN), and they had to rely solely on the information they supplied - they can neither give attestation nor confirmation. But they did show the discrepancies in the figures supplied. So, it's left for Nigeria to move forward from there.

The woman said, just tell them in meeting that your father died and you need money for his burial, are you not the head collector again.

You have to go through the report even after PWC concluded the report NNPC kept coming to them with dubious figures to try to make up for the shortfall e.g come with costs for pipeline damage, subsidy deductions etc
Many people are going to jail,NNPC,DPR,PPPRA and NPDC might be empty by the time a comprehensive audit is done. This audit is null and void as long as access was'nt given to CBN or NPDC. How will I audit your company and you won't give me access to your company bank statements(CBN)

Then if want to hear I will tell you these:

1 no doubt Jonathan administration is a failure especially when it comes to fighting corruption. He got many thing wrong.

2 He got those things wrong because he wanted to satisfy north, due to what happened to power zoning as a result of yaradua's death. So, he sacrificed r
what due to south to satisfy northerners. especially, southwest.

3 Northerners were not satisfied yet and conspired against his administration as a way to frustrate his government out of place.

4 To carry out the conspiracy sanusi who was CBN governor then started funding illegal contracts through back doors.

5 When Jonathan passived that sanusi was doing something strange he was thinking of sending him on terminal leave when sanusi got Jonathan's plan hr started accusing Jonathan's administration of of the money aforementioned.

Jonathan's administration did not say money did not lose of cause they accepted shortfall of 10.8 billion. Sanusi was part of them, later auditor was called to investigate it yet sanusi trying to use masses

This your attempt at finding your way around the report via concocted conjectures is actually laughable.
Did you even bother to digest the report?

Okay let me help you here.
Sanusi as the then CBN governor expects a certain amount of money to be remitted into the federation account by NNPC

He noticed irregularities in payment and raised alarm of the unremitted funds

The Minister of finance corroborated Sanusi’s story albeit with a slightly lesser figure

GEJ forced Sanusi out probably because of the whistleblowing

GEJ instructed PWC to investigate Sanusi’s claim despite assurances by the NNPC, senate probe and other vested interests. GEJ actually categorically stated that no money was missing (we now know he is a freaking lying bat)

The report was presented to GEJ around November but had to be embargoed since the findings was damaging and would have resulted in them losing the election

Auditor General concluded using an excerpt from the summary of report that $1.48B needs to be refunded by NNPC

Buhari hinted his intention to review the audit

GEJ having no choice had to instruct the release of the report

We are all here screaming and scratching our heads on the monumental fraud that has been going on at NNPC under GEJ’s watch. I’m sure you now know you could have benefitted from this money by gaining QUALITY education that would have allowed you read/digest and interpret findings.

Shell divested from some of it's assets worth $3.4 billion and NPDC in turn gave it to Atlantic Energy and Seven Energy owned by Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore respectively. So this guys where given $3.4 billion dollars assets by Diezanni Madueke for about 50% of the worth $1.65 billion so Nigeria lost more than $1.75 billion dollars in revenue due to undervaluation of the assets. It's very likely Diezanni has shares or a stake in both companies because they were formed few months before they were handed the oil blocks further investigation will need to be done on this.Watch Mohammed Sanusi explain this before the Senate.
