Beans are a welcome addition to weight-loss meal plans because they are packed with essential nutrients and help keep you feeling full for long periods of time. The do have beneficial nutrients when you’re trying to shed pounds.

So a good portion of beans won't arm you. They don't add weight unless she eat bigger portion and other things....

Black beans, red or any kind of beans have low GI...about 50
Hahaha

And Edwife did not disappoint....

In other matters:
This season is all yours, tomorrow is another day!

Congratulations!!!

Nice!

How did you prepare your tilapia? And did you roast your plantain over the gas cooker?

Nice one! I have a problem with hot pepper, although, very rich in vitamin B. It is like a poison to my body system.

No I used the grill for the plantain... I overdid it a bit though as I was busy doing bedtime stories grin would have prefered not as charred as that but it was still ok.

I baked the tilapia in the oven. Seasoned it with some herbs and spices wrapped in foil and put it in the oven.

Am very lazy on weekday evenings so tend to make a lot of chuck in the oven or grill meals grin

Hun! Why do you always set your meal this way? Placing orange(clementine) on a bowl of pasta doesn't look conventional.

you can use artificial sweetener though.
Or honey to supplement your sugar intake.

I have tried them before. They don't just work for me. I am habitually addicted to sugar, most especially, the dangerous synthetic sugars.

You're gonna have a hard time withdrawing then because it is now more like a psychological dependence. Sorry.

Goodluck to you.

But You can work out extra hard though and you'd be none the worse for it.
Sometimes something that's bad for someone else may not be very harmful to you because your body has becomes adapted to breaking it down.

My father-in-law is almost 80yrs old and says that as far as he can remember, he's been hooked on sugar all his life. I see him packing sugar in his coffee until it tastes like ice cream and in my head I'm like "arghhhhhh embarassed", But He's stronger than me grin so I guess he's not worse for the habit.

Just make sure you're aware of what your blood sugar Level is most of the time.
