They have a right of appeal to the higher courts, so their lawyers will immediately appeal against the decision and then apply for their bail pending appeal, and then proceed to frustrate the Prosecution's case until the right bribe gets into the right hands and the case is either abandoned or the conviction is quashed

I have always maintained that no govt can fight corruption successful without a review of current constitution that favors the rich.
