I think it's simply the possibility of something different.
The impression that most Nigerian men have about foreign ladies is that they are;
-more beautiful
-more caring
-more independent
-love unconditionally
Moreover, Nigerians are suckers for fair skinned females. We love the thought of having "half-caste" kids and marrying a beautiful foreigner with a nice accent. Lol
But more importantly I think naija guys are simply fed up with the tendency of many Nigerian girls to be gold diggers and have multiple sex partners, each serving a purpose.
We want a woman we can love who will love us back and sleep at night knowing that she is yours and yours alone.
It's just a fantasy.

Khiaa...you have to understand that Africans are no different than Black Americans and Afro'Carribs regarding colorism.

Many of them hate themselves so they won't marry a woman that looks like him or his mother. It is sad.

Many of them also fail to realized that just because you have a white or Asian woman 5th at your children will look like them. If they understand genetics...they will understand it is the dominant genes that takes over.

Two white people will never produce a black baby but two black people can produce a white/light baby.

I know African countries experienced colonialism and some compared that with being slavery. However, transatlantic slavery was horrific and many blacks were conditioned that their black was a curse.
