First of, that list n d information therein is so so untrue. Only the coys mentioned in d oil n gas sector actually merit a place on that list, altho the figures quoted for them are also very wrong. Exxon, total, chevy n for the love of God NLNG..how did NLNG not make d list?? My elder brother joined Exxonmobil in 2001 n even then his annual pay 7million naira. So flash forward 14 years n dat would give you some insight.

Second, i'm all for being entrepreneurial, but stating that you cant get rich on paid employment is just touche! You get rich not just by being an entrepreneur but by being focused and disciplined financially n otherwise, in the administration of the resources available to you. Basically, yu get rich if you possess the mindset to be rich n to harness your resources to that end, not just by being your own boss. How can you tell me someone who makes 13+ mil a year in Nigeria, n is disciplined and prudent enough to invest just a lil of that money in some ventures, own some assets, and afford some luxuries (houses, cars etc.) isn't rich??

Lastly, all this talk about just have a 2:1 or first class thingy...in Nigeria today that doesn't cut it really. I can say with some degree of boldness that just a 2:1 or 1:1 wont get you in any of these coys. That door closed years ago n now the first degree is kinda like WASC..get a master's and any other professional certifications cos what we have right now is a cockfight, the one with the bigger cock usu is the preferred choice. BTW go to any assessment centre n see how many that make d final shortlist tend to have foreign B.Ss n M.Sc or more. Bottomline, have a good first degree n also be prepared to have a lil extra if yu plan on making it into these juicy coys.
