Bros... From my little and quick research.... both schools are highly rated in Finland so u can't go wrong picking either of them.

Joensuu (lit. "mouth of the river"wink is a city and municipality in North Karelia in the province of Eastern Finland. It was founded in 1848. The population of Joensuu is 75,086 (November 30, 2014),[1] although the economic region of Joensuu has a population of 115,000.[6]

Joensuu is a lively student city with over 15,000 students enrolled at the University of Eastern Finland and a further 4,000 at the North Karelia University of Applied Sciences.[7]............... From Wikipedia

As of 30 September 2014, the population of Turku was 183,811,[11] making it the sixth largest city in Finland.[4] As of 31 August 2008 there were 303,492 inhabitants living in the Turku sub-region, ranking it as the third largest urban area in Finland after the Greater Helsinki area and Tampere sub-region.
The city is officially bilingual as 5.2 percent of its population identify Swedish as a mother-tongue.[5]

The business district in the city's economy is centred on the Port of Turku and other service-oriented industries. The city is also a renowned high-tech centre – the Turku Science Park area in Kupittaa hosts over 300 companies[citation needed] from the fields of biotechnology and information technology, as well as several institutions of higher learning that work in closely with the business sector. This cooperative element is seen as a particularly important factor with regards to the city's expected future economic development, as outlined in the Turku Strategy that is published annually by the city council.[citation needed] At least the following major Finnish companies have their corporate headquarters in Turku: HKScan, Teleste and Hesburger............From Wikipedia

From the above extract from Wikipedia and the factors I mentioned above if I were you....... TURKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But be careful things might b different on ground..... I never pass Benin Rep oo

Please boss what's up with HOAS? They said on their website that we can apply for both furnished and unfurnished apartments, but after having a chat with them, they said Masters Students can only apply for unfurnished apartments that furnished apartments are only for Exchange students. We have to go and buy furnitures ourselves. I hope this won't be difficult to do, arriving in an empty room after a long trip no easy O?
Yes, u will arrive in an empty room except your tutors are very nice and have made arrangements for you. But subsequently, its not hard to get stuffs. You can buy all furnitures in a single place and have them delivered to your house. You can also get for free from people moving out.

Cheers!

Hello house, please reply this msg as soon as possible. As things stand, I have 100k in my account. But I'm expecting about 2m from my hustle in the next 30 days (this includes borrowing from people too). I plan to submit my rp application in June. Now, how can I spread the money into my account in 1 month so it won't look like lodgement? I plan to sell my car for like 900k, then split d remaining as cash deposits in family members' names. Please honest advise needed asap, cos I want to start by putting 300k on friday. My account statement is quite eventful. i.e money dey enter and go out but no be regular money (wages) so I no go fit do payment slips and all that. I'll write a convincing letter of explanation that should appeal to logic, I just need advice on how d money should go in. Thanks in advance.
Bros no vex o.... this is only a suggestion.

Lemme start with the car.... include a sales agreement between urself and the person that buys ur car showing the amount the car was sold, the name of the car etc. it should b signed by both parties and two witnesses. that should cover d 900K in ur account. For the remaining 1.1M u can pay in 200K three times a week for the weeks. You can also consider Adebasket's advice of withdrawing some part of d funds and paying it back into ur account. Make some payments in your name and others in d name of ur siblings or parents.
This is only a suggestion o.... i dey finalize plan for my own fund lodgement sef...all d best bro

h should stand for huone (room)
So shld be 2 rooms + kitchen. Solu means cell. (No fear o...no be kirikiri o)
Summary: 2 rooms shared apartment. You and your apartment mate shares kitchen and most likely bathroom too and possibly a living room. The 'eh' i cant decode.
3rd option is a whole apartment to yourself. You dont need that. Abi u dey carry babe come ni?
Ist or 2nd option dey ok. 2nd option is just more spacious. Just go for the cheapest....lol....no time to waste money. No house is bad here.

Cheers!
Boss, no vex o...

What do you have to say about this options of accommodation?

.
room in communal apartment / 2r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 3r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 4+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 5r+kitchen
room in communal apartment / 6r+kitchen
1 room + mini kitchen, studio
family apartment / 2r+kitchen
.

Does it mean there are apartments with 6rooms and one kitchen? Probably one toilet?

Abeg clarify or even help me make a pick.

Tnx

@sureboy I understand d brain storm u re passing thru now. It is well. Bros, why can't u get a sponsor(anybody) and sworn to an affidavit that will back him up. U can call him an uncle from ur maternal side and he will be responsible for ur upkeep over there. 2nd option is to be withdrawing certain amount of cash and putting it bck in d names of ur family members. But it must not be upto 500k,if it is dt person statement of acct will be needed. But to make dis thing okay,d 1st option will be beta.
That's to my best idea bro.
Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 8:37am On May 07, 2015
nothing to worry about. get a sponsor with a good source of income and you can transfer the whole funds at once. or self sponsor, in the name of your family members and your own savings.

Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by Nobody: 12:06pm On May 07, 2015
@sirKez and @olusey. thanks guys. I'll look into this. Concerning family members' names for deposits. The only one who has d same surname as mine is my bro. Others have remarried and now have new surnames(my mum, sisters, aunts, etc). How do I deposit money in "family members' names" then? Please advise. Getting a sponsor will be a bit difficult. No one is willing to give that kind of money, moreover what will be the acceptable relationship between this sponsor and I? Please explain further. I intend to apply in 3 weeks and visit Abuja before June 12.

To other matters... is there no one else going to the University of Helsinki? Make me sef get padi from nairaland when I reach there na. We fit combine money to cut costs.

Finally, to those who got multiple admission offers which included Uni of Helsinki, u berra go for U of H if u intend to work in finland with ur degree. Those foreign countries are somehow towards where ur degree is from o. They'd prefer employing graduates from their best uni over others. Grads of the best unis easily get job offers compared to the others. It's d truth.

Not giving that kine of money for ur sponsor. All what you will do is to use his acct, put the money in his acct den withdraw it back. Since u ve d cash, u only need his acct and his name.

You should actually do that. Provide proof of ownership and other car particulars etc.
And make a document regarding the sales too. Like a signed agreement.

For the rest, u need to plan that well. Because u cant just use anyone as sponsor. The sponsor's account also has to be active with a substantial amount in it( after transfering money to ur account) Sponsor must have stable source of income preferably someone that has a salary account. Just consider all options and plan well. They dont waste time in denying once they see any discrepancy.

Since u have up to 2 m. Just put 1.5m in ur account and the rest in ur sponsor's. Though i usually advise about 1m in sponsor's acct as well, just to be safe.

All the best sir.

Thanks for this. I understand you now. Finally, are you suggesting the car sale route as option A and the sponsor route as Option B? Or you're saying I should go with both. i.e sell d car, put d money in with proof, then put half the balance in my account and d remaining half should come in from d sponsor's account? I hope u understand my question? It's the final question. Thank you in advance.

At least 500k. Dont know the current exchange rate. Just make sure that scholarship amount + the amount in ur acct is not less than the amount they specified when converted to naira. I think its 6720 ...not sure.

Yes u can use uncle. Its just always easier to use an immediate family because they will.be asking annoying questions like hw u r related, y is he sponsoring u, bla bla bla. But dont worry, most people still get it and the fact that u have a scholarship already makes ur case easier.
